I clicked on this video because it showed a picture of a green and white 1955 Buick Special but the title said 1955 Buick Century: The Original Muscle Car?
I got my driver’s license in 1958. We learned to never mess with a 4-porthole Buick on top end! You could beat a Buick off the line easy, but from 60 up to whatever you had enough road for. Nope. Unless your old man had a Hemi Chrysler New Yorker, you were wasting gas to run a Buick.
you could also order it with a 3 speed standard shift on the column, my best friends mom had a one, a 1955 special, 2dr with the post. you could get the same hp engine in the special, looked almost identical and shorter wheel base and lighter car.
QUE BELEZERA ,, OLHA QUANTA QUALIDADE TEM ESSE CARRO . MUITO LINDO DETALHES INCRÍVEIS MARAVILHA
Actually the Oldsmobile 88 came 6 years earlier. The Century was reintroduced in 1954 and it was pretty fast for the day.

Beautiful car. Love the 50's GM automobiles: they are all icons
Very nice car. Drooled over these in my teens. Question: was not the Century a Special body dressed (extra port hole) with a ROAD MASTER engine?🦇
Banker's hot rod? I thought the Chrysler 300 had this name.
But the 55-57 Buicks were beautiful.
There were 3 port Buicks and 4 port Buicks. The Century was a 4 port as you can see in the video. The voice-over is a miss-match in this regard.
roadmaster also
Hermoso hermoso hermoso
Four port holes on the upper-class models.
