I started myself save with Leeds and won promotion in first place the first and then straight won the premier league with the starting leeds squad plus Almada and Karim Konate.I have never would do this again probably. Great video

Football manager just seems easier than it used to be, Leeds finishing fourth in season 2 with that team is insane, yes you did an amazing job with the players you thought and setting the team up tactically but it’s still insane you guys finished fourth, I remember when it was called championship manager before they changed the name to football manager, then the earlier football managers, that team would have never got fourth, it does feel like they’ve made the game easier lol.
you should try rebuilding norwich, they finished 2/3rd in the first ‘premier league’ season, beating teams like bayern munich in what is now the UCL, in recent years they have been a ‘yo-yo’ club and now they have spent consecutive seasons in the championship for the first time in a while. Would be nice to see them establish themselves in the top flight and in european competitions:)

Can you do a build a nation 20 year type save vs your dad. Each a different country who have similar league structures and similarly placed in co-efficients at the start. Then alongside the usual points for winning leagues, cup, europe etc. Bonus pts for co-efficient points etc.

The one thing you could have done to improve the squad that you didn’t do was replace Meslier as surely there is better keepers out there.

Hey Luke, I feel like all your players develop a lot even after the age of 21 how do you manage to do that? And what do you look for in players for them to become so good?
To be fair there are a lot of players that don’t develop much at all that I never really show or I sell them, so it’s not as high percentage as you may think. But I just look for good personality when signings a player as well as knowledge of their potential already

Haven’t really switched my friend, just doing both really. I’m enjoying doing the longer ones like this rather than the series stuff I used to do at the minute. Just keeping it fresh for myself

you needed a 5-star keeper luke, you could have gotten 3 or 4 more titles if you had bought a 5-star potential keeper in season 1 and integrated him since season 3.
