I honestly think Hyunjin deserves better. YG even praised her dancing on Mixnine before and literally was first during the evaluation. Don't downgrade her abilities because she has not shown you what she is capable of
Also for rap she should be higher cause believe it or not on their official profiles she is listed as a rapper, and she gave us a sneak peak in Satellite.
Honestly, she needs to go back to that strong makeup she used in her modelling days. It suits her so well and gives her a more mature look. She looks like a whole different person without it.

Imo she needs more confidence in her high notes. I think she can sing them well, but she chooses to sing them in falsetto instead. I hope someday she'll get more confident in them.
my vocal ranking (all opinionated but backed up): 1. haseul (i know that most lists have chuu as one, but haseul has more control and composure when she sings, especially high notes) 2. chuu (we been knew. she can really pull off powerful high notes and belts like hi high. the reason i put her at two is because her pitching can sometimes be off) 3. jinsoul (people are about to burn me bc they think yves of heejin should be here but jinsoul honestly she has more power in her voice than both of them. she can belt and hold a note, and her head voice is controlled) 4. yves (an overall solid lead vocalist. she does lack a bit of power when she belts but her regular singing voice is gorgeous) 5. heejin (can pull off a belt but has a few toning issues. she sometimes switches to falsetto when she belts but has overalls good control) 6. kim lip (her specialty is her falsetto. she uses a lot of head voice and sometimes struggles with lower register but overall another solid vocalist) 7. choerry (truly an underrated vocalist. she really could’ve been a lead vocalist with a tad bit more training. her runs are nice and her voice is stable, but she lacks a bit of confidence) 8. hyunjin (her voice is made from air but she won’t hesitate to belt. she has a very calming voice and can suit any concept) 9. olivia hye (sounds similar to gowon is some ways, but can sing high notes well. she’s also stable) 10. yeojin (HER FALSETTO SLAPS OMG. her voice is still underdeveloped but that’s because she’s young. with training, she has great potential) 11. gowon (her b5 in one and only. periodt. her singing voice is very high and almost childlike, but she can certainly use that to her advantage) 12. vivi (we haven’t seen much of her singing besides her solo. her voice is sweet and airy, but overall lacks power) honestly all of them are great vocalists tho

Jinsoul strained those notes though, and they didn't sound that good. Kim Lip is definitely a better singer than Jinsoul, most people just have an issue with Lippingtons tone, because she's a nasal singer. ANYWAY, member with the healthiest scalp: Gowon.
Sock a true about the straining, that really wasn't the best clip for showcasing her vocal abilities. I still think Jinsoul is the better singer though if just slightly, especially when she's in a more comfortable range

Unpopular Opinion: Heejin only gets ranked higher because we've gotten more opportunity to see her showcase these things because she's the most promoted member. Not down playing her skills at all but let's be real ... Any member of Loona could give the same performance on Mix Nine, some better. Hyunjin was even ranked higher before the evil editing.

I personally would never put Choerry above Hyunjin, and right now not even above Yeojin either (but that one's most likely to change).

personally i dont think yeojin should be that low for vocals in a lot of the live material we've had like loona studio & loonaverse when she performed kiss later she sounds very good and has a sort of ease the others dont have and her natural low register is very underrated and should be appreciated more! also shes young so she will obviously improve i personally have a lot of faith in her and her voice

I don’t know if it’s just me but Yeojin is such a good dancer. Her dancing is so so underrated. She may not a be as good as Yves, Heejin, or Hyeju but she’s still good. She’s so sharp and rhythmical, she always hits the beats on time, her energy is amazing, and her moves are precise. She looks so clean and energetic when dancing. Yeojin should be appreciated more for her dance, I think she’s better than Jinsoul.

K Emperor I don't agree. Heejin in my opinion tends to be stiff at dance moves and lacks the right emotions in her moves, whereas Kim Lips reflects the exact vibe of a song into her dance moves. Although, Kim Lip lacks in powerful moves, which on the other hand Heejin has no problems with. Vocally, its arguable. Heejin has had more opportunities to show off imo. I think, would you give both of them a song to sing on the spot, Kim Lip would impress more than Heejin, since she can use her unique vocal color to her advantage. Then again Heejin is the better live singer. Its pretty hard to rank them since they all are good and bad at different things, but personally I do believe that Kim Lip doesn't belong at the bottom of the vocal line.

Vivi can’t be 6th for dancing. I’m sorry but no. You didn’t even include Olivia in top 5 dancers when literally she is top 3 are you really saying Vivi and Hyunjin are better than Hyejoo? Olivia is the third best dancer in Loona. And Vivi is at best 9th in dance. We have the top 6(Heejin, Yves, Olivia Hye, Kim Lip, Gowon, and Choerry in that order), followed by Chuu, Yeojin, then Hyunjin. I love Vivi very much but she’s miles away from Olivia’s level and you didn’t even include her in your top 5. I feel like Olivia Hye is more discredited than most members. She’s one of the biased members but Orbits really underrate/under rank her talent. She is an amazing dancer but Orbits place Yerim, Hyunjin, Vivi, above her in dance. Mostly agree on everything expect for dance. I know chuu is definitely not a top 5 dancer but her improvement this era was so insane compared to hi high I definitely think she should be a little higher.. also she's always been extremely charismatic and energetic and eye catching which is sometimes even more important than being technically skilled..

Since debut, I thought it was just accepted that Hyunjin is the unofficial "main visual". I'm not sure if I just can't see it, or just because she's the most popular, but everyone seems to think Heejin is the prettiest and I don't understand.
i think, atleast for me, is makeup and hairstyles what make the difference, heejin's ones lately makes her look even prettier these days and hyunjin's don't showcase her beauty and don't make her stand out. i used to think hyunjin was the unbothered visual but now i find heejin prettier. Zhou Tzukyung I think Heejin has some of Loona’s best high notes but since she doesn’t support in her voice I don’t think she’s better than Lip. If she develops breath support (which I’m sure she will, knowing her talents) I’ll move her up easily!

Imo when y’all say a member is ranked low and that they should be ranked higher for their vocal or dance, it’s likely that the members above that member are just so good at dancing that they have to be ranked where they’re ranked. Being ranked #9 or #6 isn’t that bad when you consider that all members of Loona are extremely talented. I hope this comment makes sense.

my vocal ranking (all opinionated but backed up):
1. haseul (i know that most lists have chuu as one, but haseul has more control and composure when she sings, especially high notes)
2. chuu (we been knew. she can really pull off powerful high notes and belts like hi high. the reason i put her at two is because her pitching can sometimes be off)
3. jinsoul (people are about to burn me bc they think yves of heejin should be here but jinsoul honestly she has more power in her voice than both of them. she can belt and hold a note, and her head voice is controlled)
4. yves (an overall solid lead vocalist. she does lack a bit of power when she belts but her regular singing voice is gorgeous)
5. heejin (can pull off a belt but has a few toning issues. she sometimes switches to falsetto when she belts but has overalls good control)
6. kim lip (her specialty is her falsetto. she uses a lot of head voice and sometimes struggles with lower register but overall another solid vocalist)
7. choerry (truly an underrated vocalist. she really could’ve been a lead vocalist with a tad bit more training. her runs are nice and her voice is stable, but she lacks a bit of confidence)
8. hyunjin (her voice is made from air but she won’t hesitate to belt. she has a very calming voice and can suit any concept)
9. olivia hye (sounds similar to gowon is some ways, but can sing high notes well. she’s also stable)
10. yeojin (HER FALSETTO SLAPS OMG. her voice is still underdeveloped but that’s because she’s young. with training, she has great potential)
11. gowon (her b5 in one and only. periodt. her singing voice is very high and almost childlike, but she can certainly use that to her advantage)
12. vivi (we haven’t seen much of her singing besides her solo. her voice is sweet and airy, but overall lacks power)

Jinsoul strained those notes though, and they didn't sound that good. Kim Lip is definitely a better singer than Jinsoul, most people just have an issue with Lippingtons tone, because she's a nasal singer.

K Emperor I don't agree. Heejin in my opinion tends to be stiff at dance moves and lacks the right emotions in her moves, whereas Kim Lips reflects the exact vibe of a song into her dance moves.
Although, Kim Lip lacks in powerful moves, which on the other hand Heejin has no problems with.
Vocally, its arguable. Heejin has had more opportunities to show off imo. I think, would you give both of them a song to sing on the spot, Kim Lip would impress more than Heejin, since she can use her unique vocal color to her advantage.
Then again Heejin is the better live singer.

But the fact that chuu has high full range that makes her a main vocal
Meanwhile haseul has also high range
But most of it falsetto because she was trained as a opera singer

heejin is ranked 1 in dancing if you watch her and yves dance yves is more sharper and accurate
Heejin also a good dancer or main dancer material the only makes her the number 1 spot because her facial expressions are versatile the makes her stand out the most but if you notice their differences yves is more sharper and cleaner
Also hyunjin is a good dancer if you watch mixnine she’s the one who help her members in the choreography
But watching her dancing on stage
Seems different she has that accurate and sharp movements the only thing that her energy and the way she put force to each movement is not powerful as other members

Am I the only one think Heejin is kinda overrated as visual? I think shes just the most conventionally pretty tbh??

Imo when y’all say a member is ranked low and that they should be ranked higher for their vocal or dance, it’s likely that the members above that member are just so good at dancing that they have to be ranked where they’re ranked. Being ranked #9 or #6 isn’t that bad when you consider that all members of Loona are extremely talented. I hope this comment makes sense.
