Thanks Sir. I have seen your debate with Doug today. You really tried your best to reveal the true meaning of the Scriptures but they showed that their minds are covered. They consider themselves righteous by the law and always boasting of their salvation.
The man was not humble at all. And he even gave false meaning of the Scriptures. The prayer he prayed is not any different from the prayer of the Pharisee who was also a teacher of the law.
I am a young Christian from Kenya and I am happy to discover your Channel. I will learn more from your videos Sir. Stay humble and be blessed in Jesus name.

It's ashame that many of my Adventist brethren have clothed themselves in such a manner; we are guilty of walking by the letter of the law whilst the spiritual nature of the law has been altogether neglected.
We are to come back to worship Him who created the heavens, the earth, the sea, and springs of water. To worship the Creator whose laws are fixed and constant; wherein deviation always leads to ruin unto death.
Adventists themselves whilst they make a great boast in the law defile the totality of the law by upholding to specious lies that actually undermine trust in our heavenly Abba. That lie that I'm speaking of is penal substitution theology wherein God cannot simply forgive sin, Jesus must pay a legal payment for each and every act of transgression that is legally placed upon Him and punished.
Thus, this doctrine leads to the dubious teaching of legal imputation; that God after receiving the legal payment of Christ's blood declares that you are righteous forensically whilst you conditionally in heart, mind, and character do not have your sin remitted. In fact, you are still conditionally a sin-sick sinner whose merely received a legal pardon for your condition and not actual transformation by the Holy Spirit transforming your character to be like Christ.
A legally declared justification by faith is nowhere found in the Scriptures and was a doctrine made by Martin Luther to refute the papal doctrine of purgatory.
Yet, both purgatory, penal substitutionary view of the atonement, and the idea that justification by faith is merely legal and forensic are all clear evidence that as Daniel 7:25 propheshied, “the little horn would seek to change times and law.”
Many Seventh-day Adventists like to point out the Papal errors of changing the commandments when Martin Luther and other Reformers are just as guilty as perpetuating the idea that God's law functions no different than the laws sinful human governments make up. That God's law functions like any ol' codified legal code is enforced by executive authority by the infliction of a penalty upon the transgressor.
This is the whole basis for purgatory and the penal substitutionary view of the atonement of Christ. That Jesus died to bear the punishment of sin in our place rather than bearing up our human condition in totality to cleanse it and thereby we through the intercession of the Holy Spirit share in His accomplishment in actual receive by faith a new heart and right spirit. Thus, as the apostle Paul stated, “it is no longer I who lives, but Christ who lives in me.”
