  • If you’ve ever admired patchwork which included stripes of fabric using irregular waves but been baffled how? And questioned how to avoid puckering or gathered fabric? Well this week’s demo has all the answers. Wendy demonstrates a masterclass in creating freehand wave designs and how to sew the stripes together, effortlessly & accurately to avoid the puckering pitfalls which can often ‘put off’ patchworkers attempting this visually delightful creation.

      Hello Wendy,
A much inspired tutorial. I am looking forward to your future 'Landscape/Seascape' quilted projects, it's such a fabulous idea and it looks like you can easily become completely absorbed in creating a picture. I thought today's iron blended well with your choice of fabrics!
      Best wishes
