Many tutors who do teach this usually miss out the so easy method of straightening the ends. Excellent tutorial. Putting the lining seam in the center of the bag is brilliant! I also liked the idea of the French seam at the bottom because it adds strength and also secures the lining. Many thanks from Louisiana, USA.

Excellent tutorial thanks. I'm going to start stacking up quilt as you go blocks for my own quilt. I'm making for everyone else's at the moment and this will help me use up scraps from the projects and give me a treat at the end.

Hello Jeanine, If you use 5 inch squares, the block when trimmed, finishes 8 inches, including seam allowance, you can easily ajust the size, by increasing or decreasing the squares. Hope that helps. Enjoy
