The legendary studio monitor: JBL 4310 (with good audio recording!)

- I can finally present you the JBL 4310 after 2 month of refurbishing.
The audio for the listening test was recorded with an Olympus LS-10 standing directly in the sweet spot. Sadly its not capable to capture the low frequency response. Use high quality headphones for playback to avoid room influences!

studio monitors already existed at this time, like the Altec Lansing 604
@@manoglzinn The JBL 4310 was specifically designed to mimic the iconic 604 in a box a 1/4 of the size. It did more than that-- it replaced the 604 as a mixdown monitor and spawned the most popular home bookshelf of all time.

Hi Rob, thank you! I used RAL 7038 Agate Grey ! This should be extremly close to the original color!

I have read that the color is close to battle ship grey is that correct?By the way my 4310's also sound great! They are sure keepers!Cheers
