maybe dont fly a drone at eye level near all those people when you dont know the control system very well? seems needlessly risky.
Seems like the worst possible place to launch a drone.. and he's usually overly careful..

That ladies and gentlemen is a professional and focused drone pilot. 2 people do a deathfall less than 20 feet from him yet he doesn't bat an eye. All focus stayed on the drone and his flight.

Turn the controller with your wrist to the left, it yaws to the left. Turn the controller with your wrist to the right, it yaws to the right. Now, how hard is that? A guy without any legs and only one hand can fly the thing, without moving in circles with his body!

YES, he has no clue how to operate it, he does not need to move his whole body to yaw, you can roll your wrist to yaw when hovering

Usually I hate when Karen's step in and bitch about safety, but in this case I agree completely. Using the hand controller for the very first time equates to you not being 100% confident in controlling your craft. You had no business flying anywhere near people.

I heard from Nurk FPV’s video that if you input a roll like you would if your were flying a plane with a center or side stick you can perform a coordinated turns without having to “yaw” the controller or turn your whole body to get the drone in a certain orientation

Ken if you watch Nurks video on the stick, if you roll the stick left of right in motion, you dont have to turn your body to turn the drone.
The wand is a game changer for this drone. I bought mine without it but after flying my friends with the wand I had to buy it.

I heard the antennas are in the arms so you can't use carbon fiber arms. You could use Kevlar though. If you see an Indycar raw, or before it's painted to wrapped, you'll see a circle of gold Kevlar in the middle of the carbon. That is where the antenna goes. Under the Kevlar. Otherwise I'd be happy to make carbon arms.
He Ken, You don't have to turn your body, if you tilt the controller, like you did when you wanted to put it down, then use the fly button the drone will make a turn, I saw that in a video somewhere on RUclips.
I hate to be that guy, but as a drone flyer I question your judgement in doing this for the first time around all of these people.

I am watching and dreaming of buying my new one when I see a a grown man launch his drone, after saying he has never having used it before in the middle of a crowd of people, maybe even by some kind of memorial? Then, I watch this child in a man's body fly the drone around them and ask where the pause button is. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???
I live in Thailand now but to see people do something THIS STUPID, that can DIRECTLY cause the creation of MORE new laws in my home country which is now borderline communist country is NOT OK. I don't give a crap what you do on your own, but don't risk injuring a bunch of old people taking a walk and screw up drone flying for the rest of us. Do I feel better? I'll feel better when you fly responsibly.

Instead of turning your bodies to turn the drone you can just lean the controller left or right and it will spin a full 360 degrees.
I thought after he laid it on the side and it spun in a circle that he would have figured that out.

Not having a case has Been the hardest part of taking this DJI FPV Drone for a flight.

If you watch again there were 2 people that fell and then you see a dog on a leash running. I think the dog tripped everyone in the background. Originally i thought maybe some of kens camera cords may have tripped them but then i saw the dog...😆

I noticed the props were visible in the footage. One of the other channels suggested turning on RockSteady to remove that, as that will crop due to stabization algorithms. Dont know yet as haven't received mine yet.
DJI might really boost it U.S. sales
by showing the part, where Ken avoided the probably
lethal amount of exercise it takes to get up a small hill.

Since I don't have the full feeling in my left hand it makes controlling the camera angle on my Mavic airs difficult. but this motion controller (which I think dji is still in a lawsuit over) makes it pretty fun and controllable. For me it was surprisingly accurate. I'm editing video of me buzzing my loitering Mavic Air 2 .. I would never do that with the normal controller! btw... sport mode with this @ full 60mph is nutz!

Lovely mine is on the way the motion controller is a major breakthrough for me as I couldn’t find acting in the market to use a drone in one hand after my stroke only thing I go is that the goggles fits fine on top of my glasses

GPC me Ken! Loved the video, Have yet to take the plunge into FPV, but this drone might be the one to get me there.
Maybe someone will make carbon fibre arms like you say. Maybe a whole frame.
And a flight controller you can PID tune so it flies better.
Maybe custom batteries.
Maybe a mount for a better camera.
Better, cheaper props. Maybe 7" to cope with the weight.
Oh and a better designed radio with more features...

Dji FPV is much safer than self-assembled ones, it got many safety sensors
