Sho! This is too much in a good way and opportunities galore and some of us are getting overwhelmed :) We need a live stream with municipal managers to start tapping into these new possibilities of municipal revenue generation... Reliable water Supply + refuse-removal + Sewer + Roads = Jobs + Rates + Taxes.... Anyone from KZN local Government take the lead please.... And as always Sis Velile, Another stunner :D😉
I opt for solar power + wind energy, deep well+ water pump, recycling house waste & sewage. 100% off grid, sustainable homestead.
@@bwiba Also true :) Let's go get it...
How much will 4 metre tall razor wire fencing plus gates and electric fence cost? Add to this state of the art surveillance cameras, VHF radios and emergency back up generator and batteries. Flood lights at night and infra red detectors. At least 2 large dogs and a pump action shot gun.
Let's talk about the cost of an armour plated vehicle as well. No thanks, sounds very nice with sea views and all, but you are going to need the above shopping list.
@@calvinpurdy2668 are you building a prison correction facility or illegal alien immigration pen? Please heal first before moving to Africa.
@David Armstrong we're quite happy owning our land & developing it at our pace too.
Wow. As a fellow South African I love seeing SA vloggers making great content. Well done and I wish you all the best for your channel.

Exactly how big is KZN? I can't get over the beauty
94 000 km2, about the same size as Portugal.
All I can say is, it takes me 6 and a half hours to drive from Mpumalanga to KZN particularly, Durban. The border town separating Mpumalanga and KZN is about 200km from my city. KZN IS BIG
This channel has a flavour of its own. I like the originality.

Well to inform, KZN under Premier Sbu Ndebele tried to annexor steal the place, under the "Dubai like development" hence it is nicknamed "Dubai". Inkosi Mathaba told him "uyobona amabele enyoka".

Wow, went futhi, this is spectacular Velile, I only know the area by passing, wow!!! really beatific, can someone give me an idea perhaps we've got builders or architects on this channel.
I was saying is there anyone with an idea how much can the cost be to build a big double storey house like the ones Velile has been show casing in the previous videos.
I know it depend on the size etc, The profile of the iNdwedwe house helped me a lot because it gave me an idea.

We have to start now or we may miss these opportunities forever. You are right, there is so much potential. South Africans sometimes don’t come forth aggressively to seize these opportunities, chances are for foreigners to seize them right in front of us. Let’s work harder we shall succeed. 🙏🏾❤️🇿🇦

As always, you never disappoint my sista. KZN is truly heaven on earth. I have always wondered whether its possible to live there, now I know. Many thanx to you. Cant wait for Free State. Blessings to you sista.
Thank you. KZN is really beautiful. Blessings to you too. 🙏🏾❤️
Its refreshing to hear such a sincere narrator marketing an area. She emphasizes the positive aspects, but doesn't shy away from the negative ones too. She mentions the Tugela river. It is highly polluted which is explains why its not safe to swim in the sea. This area can only work with investment by something some in the ruling government regard as a swear word: Private sector investment. This includes infrastructure, upgrading sewarage and all the non sexy stuff. The people living close to the Tugela river must be included in any upgrade project. Some might need to be relocated away from flood plains close to the Tugela river. A complex area with potential.
The private sector’s involvement would actually be detrimental to the villagers, unless they chose to integrate them into their developments and keep things affordable for everyone. We know that this never happens. The private sector would see the villagers as a hindrance to business and want out or hidden away, not appearing in front of tourists except as servers.
@@baphithi I tend to agree with you. Once big money is involved nature is the first sacrifice
I love your vlogs sis 😍 💗

Sis Vee a sinazo thina e EC ezilali besides Port St John's side. We did go to Coffee Bay and Hole in the Wall and they said only inzalelwane zapha can get amanxiwa which is so sad.
I love your Chanel.
As usual, you had my interest from start till end. Also like how you touch on the fact that you’ll always have the apartheid legacy features of any town (urban or rural) in SA. The fact that people are building and also taking up space where before they might have been harassed or even pushed off the prime sea-view land is progress. Beautiful place…when are you visiting EC?
I am thinking of doing EC in March. Yes, people are taking space. We need to also ensure that we grow our businesses and not just build family homes. These are great opportunities at an affordable cost. 🙏🏾❤️
@@VelileLifestyleDecorTV absolutely agree that building residential homes is a first crucial step to cement one self and take up space in their ancestral lands but people also need to strategically procure land to develop their businesses in these villages so rural business nodes are mostly run and owned by Black SAns and not left to Pakistanis and Bangladeshis to run most of the businesses there because there’s leverage that Black SAns have that outsiders just can’t have (and rightly so) in rural towns and villages…one being land ownership that can only go to them and everyone else can lease or rent from them. Ppl need to start moving strategically in SA rural towns& villages. They are the next frontier and we already have what I’d call quite developed rural towns and villages, hence why outsiders don’t find it difficult to relocate to here and skip our urban towns and cities altogether…rural towns are the gold mines and this government be moving like they are blind idiots sometimes. I’m thankful that with tribal laws& tight leadership, so much is protected though and makes up for this government’s lack of vision for rural economic development. My maternal grand parents are involved in rural development and they’ve always said there’s so much money and opportunity in rural SA, way more than urban cities which are over-run by global concerns and SA conglomerates
@@thandisilec835 Information overload :) Either way, Message and plans activated. Your passion is appreciated in these You-tube streets. Take care Sis...!!
@@thandisilec835 A+ observation. One can only hope that the municipal managers see the potential of revenue generation. Sewerage, Water, Roads = Rates + Taxes... We are willing to pay if these services can be rendered and reliable.
@@thandisilec835 Partnership with private sector might also be an alternative. . . We still got a long way to go for sure.
