Char 787 Presents: Timelapse of Ski Resort Slope Preparation for the 2020-2021 Ski Season - From Autumn to Opening Day!
For a bit over the past month, I’ve been taking a screenshot of 14 webcams, once a day, every day, from when the trees’ leaves just started falling till Opening Day! I’ve composed it into a timelapse of ski resort slope preparation, along with awesome clips of the snowmaking and grooming that occurred throughout the process! The 2020-2021 ski season has officially begun, and I’m stoked at the adventures that lay ahead this winter.
However, just a few days into the season, Ontario went back into the lockdown and Ontarian ski resorts have once again been forced to close.. Hopefully they’ll still be able to re-open in the end of January! You may notice that this is a re-upload. That is because, a few minutes after I posted the previous version of this video, I found out about the lockdown and wanted to re-edit the video to address the ski resorts’ closure, which is the COVID-19 ending you see in this video.
The ski resorts featured in this video include: Blue Mountain (Ontario, Canada), Mount St Louis Moonstone (Ontario, Canada), Perfect North Slopes (Indiana, United States), and Keystone Resort (Colorado, United States).
