You did well with your predictions!🎉
Thank you!
I love this video! Your predictions are seriously impressive. I just bought Nightbloom because of you and I can’t wait to read it x
Thank you! I hope you absolutely love it!
I loved The Maiden - hope you like it, too 😊 Oh no, I have just seen that you can’t access it. Hopefully sometime!
Yes! I've been excited since you reviewed it. I can't find a Canadian publication but hopefully that changes with the Women's Prize.
Loved your reaction! I thought I was the only one who didn't love Demon Copperhead last year.
It can definitely feel that way! I have a review in which the primary response is "I thought I was the only one"
Thank you 🥰
I was relieved The Fraud didn't make it as i thought it was quite patchy. Great predictions. I was thrilled Enter Ghost was on the list. I must read And Then She Fell now you say she is from near Hamilton. My brother used to live in Dundas so I am one of the rare folk from the UK who has been there.
Oh that's so cool! Yeah, it is definitely not a well known city outside of Canada! I'm from Kitchener Waterloo which is similarly around half a million but I always have to say I live near Toronto. I hope you love the book!
This is so weird! Canada is huge and I live in Hamilton. I'm totally reading that book. That's amazing! Thanks for sharing. I still haven't read A Study for Obedience.
That's crazy! I get so happy when things take place in Southern Ontario. Study for Obedience I really liked but is definitely a polarizing book.
@@KierTheScrivener Do you have a video review for it? If not, I request one 😉❤. I wrote a novel about my own immigration and my experiences with prejudice. It didn't meet with great reception from my peers during my grad experience. I wish I hadn't listened TBH. now, 10 years later, I realized some experiences are so difficult that even a writer can't either find enough words to Express their truth, or even reach that deep because even after years the tear from one's hometown, family, culture etc still hurts too much.
@martasoltys9091 I am sorry there was not a huge reception. It can be so hard to write about what is so close to who we are.
I reviewed it in The Giller Shortlist Reviews I made last fall. ruclips.net/video/quQUb59aQq8/видео.htmlsi=rgh1HzKH59J5COLr
