In number 2, I was thinking -2 times -2x should have been +4x 🤔
I need explanations please 🙏🏻
Secondly your answer doesn’t match with the answer choice (H). That’s rather confusing.

Yea no ur totally right! I was thinking the same thing. I even put in my calculator, -2 x-2 and it gave me 4. She’s most likely reading off of an answer sheet which is why she didn’t catch her mistake. Weird though, she had 4 at first than erased it and put 2 lol

She made the mistake of second guessing herself during the foil demonstration. -2x times 2 = 4x NOT "2x", honest mistake but the answer choice is G if done correctly.

For #1 A can still be a answer correct? By pluging jn -3 in parenteces or how you spell it lol and multiplying. 81= 3(-3)*3(-3) then 81=(-9)(-9) right?

that’s because she did -2 x -2x as +2x but it actually equals 4x so the answer would still be H

The second answer was not correct on earth, it's might be on Marx! H) -2X^2+8X-8 is different from -2X^2+6X-8!
