Gratos recuerdos.
She looks deadpan... Like Kurt Cobain when he was high and preformed live... Which isn't a bad thing. I'm just saying, he was hot, she's hot. They both rock(ed). She has an ace jacket, and the vocals are turned up a little high, but it's fine with me, I mean, like, her voice is stellar. Metric is fab.
God the bass line for this song and for Dead Disco are so wonderful, I started learning Dead Disco’s a few days ago and once I get it down this is next on the list. Definitely such an underrated bassist
Hmm... no--if you think realistically, you have to realize that when they first created this song in a jam session, it was actually the lead singer who made the melody in her mind, asked the drum to play a certain beat, and sang it for the first time for the rest of them to hear. From this first play through, where typically its just the lead singer and the drums, the guitar and bass sections find inspiration for how they should fill. Yes, the bass line definitely adds a lot, but no. He isn't the gem of the song. It's the person who made the song--typically and also, in this case, the lead singer.
Although she is performing exccelently, theres something off about her expression. I think the other commenters are trying to say that she looks spacy. ALthough that doesent have to mean she's high. She could just be ridiculously tired
Most likely the producers of this show told the band they had to play tame. She looks and sounds annoyed and going through the motions. They may even have made her lip synch She looks pissed lol
Speak for yourselves. I wish more vocalists would keep still so they could sing better for live performances. Too many bounce around, warbling notes and running out of breath.
That sound is so tight live!!! God this makes me feel young again hahaha Metric kick ass and Early Metric was especially Awesome

Emily is a muse, love her an hes voice!
Her voice is great but the songwriting. How did she come up with this melody? In a dream? So much talent
i love what shes wearing ahah...shes awesome af!
Love her big dark crystal meth eyes here, nothing can make her look bad, she is so so pretty, and my God her voice is the sweetest sound ever
She's probably not moving cuz theyre in a closed set. I saw them live and she totally jams out :)

i love her!!!!!!!!!!
She doesn’t even try - or even worse, she may be trying
Every comment here is acting like she is the entire band. The real gem in this song is the bass guitar, yet he gets no love (typical for bass players)

She may be high but....it goes with the style don't you think? Anyways, she's a doll!

Que bonita esta high pero que linda es, que se divierta la vida es tan corta
that made me laugh. what a good performance. heh.
Metric fucking rules!
she's insane live. Too bad the Hollywood palladium has HORRIBLE SOUND.
it sickens me to see how much views paramore has and how much views metric has it should be the other fucking way around
she reminds me of patti smith here.
You should see them live. They are better live.

@twilight28adtf The audio doesn't match the video. The best way to check, is to look at the drummer.
Look closly to the left back, those are the beatles guitars¡¡¡¡????? and of course, the paul mccartney`s bass
Props road fools 13
shorty stanced up like ashton jeanty
Rock band 3?
Jaunt was crazy
Se escucha muy bien 🤖👊en vivo

Her high-Highness Emily! :D

The audio is replaced with the album version.
I want to be wrong.
Is she ever homely but great song

She snorted way too much here
I love how Emily is a drunken wreck who can’t sing half as well as my Doberman when he’s eaten a brick of cheese.
ouch, off key a lot when she's live huh
Why is the guy from mgmt singing this with metric band??? Stupid, i like her voice way better than his.
I love Metric...but this is a terrible performance. It's like...can she move? Something is awfully wrong...
It's a shame they sold out.
how so?
Emily is a muse, i love her an hes voice!
