Some say withcaged birds that sunflower seed has too much fats...but they love the sunflower...they grey stripe has less fat then the black sunflower seed...We have a pink and grey with a beak that is very unusual...it is not a curved roman nose...Instead it juts out straight like the tip of a fountain pen...he can't eat like a regular bird...sorghum and sunflowers he likes...he looked like he hit a window...I call him Ashley....originally Smashley.
😆.. Yep the grey stripe is on the menu here, they are lower in fat, and they burn plenty of energy flying around I guess, plus I haven't really seen an overweight one and some have been visiting for over 12years so can't be too bad.

They've been back a few times checking out the treel estate😁🤣 but still haven't moved in!... The babies make quite a noise, yesterday the neighbours came out to see what all this whining was about 😂
