The cobra roll had to have a platform built onto it. The slightest hint of a strong wind was an almost guarantee stall mid Cobra roll. It operated one maybe two seasons without the evac platform.
You’ve got me thinking about my first, and only, visit to Flamingo Land. It was in 1993 and The Bullet was so good. I feel lucky to have ridden so many Schwarzkopfs, given their now legendary status.
My favourite SLC. the Helix after the first drop is just so good, rushing so close to the ground on an Invert this fast, one of the coolest coasters. When i was to UK Sik was closed for the entire time so i just went laps and laps on this one
Couple of things. Kumali does still have two trains but they alternate seasons with just the one train (same with Sik). Secondly the back row is reserved for RAP. Some quiet days you can get back row but its rare. Great video, I love this park and Kumali, it often gets overlooked in the UK lineup
I like how you always give a fair chance to classic Vekoma rides. Most enthusiasts hate them but for the average parkgoer they definitely look impressive and are memorable despite the flaws.
Kumali sadly passed away in April 2021, however this ride certainly is a great way for his memory to live on. Will there be a review for Mumbo Jumbo? I am a big fan of the S&S El Loco at this park.
Kumali should get some major refurbishment including replacing the old ones with the new Vekoma SLC trains with vest restraints for even more comfortable experience for those in the back.
Is there a chance you might not be able go to Lagoon cause I might do a video on what it is. But if you are going to Lagoon please arrive there an half an hour early because you can go straight to primordial when the gates open.
I don't know why but it looks so strange watching those trains execute a vertical loop from the panoramic view, especially after watching the POV section of the familiar first drop (only taller). Almost unnatural how smooth it looks. Flies through the whole layout glossy smooth. Also, my stats about stuff might be off, just walked in from a blizzard. P.S. could you imagine a spinning back car option? (Weird comment, I know.) /endrant.
For some reason they only loaded half the train when we visited (yes 5 rows...) and it wasn't empty 🥲 It's an solid layout but i found it kinda rough. Odyssey is more fun to me but whatever 😅
For me it was a tad forceless and too short as you said but at least it was smooth. Also when I went it was only running half a train which meant the line got long 😅
I don't even mind Infusion tbh if I'm on the front row. However, Kumali is much better. The one in the Netherlands is horrible though, and I have only done it AFTER it got new trains.
The short awaited review!
Enjoy!

Ye I visited on a quiet day and they said it has to be a full train to run cuz of it
@Lolfromskull-l7d SLCs have terrible pacing. They just loose speed so fast. It barely makes it through that cobra roll even with a full train 😂
I love this ride - in my opinion the views of the park from the top are amazing.

Sorry Sik was closed.

Thanks! I have heard Sik occasionally runs 2 trains, but that two train ops are rare.

This one is genuinely good for a change.
Definitely would love to give this one a ride. Looks like a genuinely fun SLC. If only all of the standard ones rode like Nor'Easter.

Doubt it, there's nothing unique or interesting about it
@@TheWolfXCIX it did take the steepest drop record when it opened.

Flamingo Land is an extremely underrated park that deserves more love and appreciation
I liked it. Plenty to do between the rides and zoo.

A spinning thrill invert would be so strange.

Was it a super windy or cold day?
I wish Canada's Wonderland had this smooth version of the Vekoma SLC.
Would’ve been interesting seeing this model in America
Really enjoyed this rapidly paced coaster - Kumali runs great for its type!
And the turn after the first drop also gave me a slight greyout 😅
I really like the elements and pacing.
What do you think about this ride and how to compare it to Infusion at Blackpool Pleasure Beach?
Kumali is more forceful and smoother.
Is this better than Great Nor’easter?
I am a big fan of this ride… maybe a little too much though! 😂
It's a good ride for sure.
I was told by staff they have been trying to get a new train for it from Vekoma.
I hope they can for busy days.
For me it was a tad forceless and too short as you said but at least it was smooth. Also when I went it was only running half a train which meant the line got long 😅
I've heard that happening in another trip report. Was it for maintenance or wind?
HERO review when (if you dont have already)
He's reviewed other Volares already, he generally likes them.
I have a general Volare one.
I don't even mind Infusion tbh if I'm on the front row. However, Kumali is much better. The one in the Netherlands is horrible though, and I have only done it AFTER it got new trains.
Condor is horrific.
Some say Kumali is the "best" ride at the park 🤷♂
It's my 2nd favorite.
Velocity for me, not been since 2017 though.
