Hi! The potentiometers touch the pcb, but there is no problem because of it. Another model of potentiometer can be mounted with less quality and does not touch the pcb. The crossfader has a connecter to be able to remove it easily
@@Dr_Bird_ thanks for replying. Yes I think some people chose the pots that don’t touch the pcb as it can be an issue? As for the crossfader, I mean the curve switch which has a chip underneath left bare - you desoldered it right? Cheers!
@@Dr_Bird_thank you. But when I desolder the switch do I need to fill in the pads/ringlets? It seems to cause distortion problems even when removed. Thanks.
@@lulur1149 hi!! It is not necessary to fill the Pads, I have modified several and none has put noise after the modification. Fill the pads with tin in case they have been damaged. Check all the welds in case any welds are cold
How much did you pay for the kit? I assume you got it from Greece? I am from the EU. Could you also tell me the type of the channel potentiometers? They do not look like to be Alps.
Guapisimo el mod, me fliparia hacerselo a la mía
Hola aún tienes el kit y cuánto sería con envío a México?
Hola! Ahora mismo no dispongo de ningún kit, bajo pedido. El envío a México habría que calcularlo
Good vibes ✨

Hi Dr. Bird! Iam looking for a rodary kit for my xone 23... Do you have a price for me? Thanks!
Hi! Where are you from??
Hi there. Don’t the metal potentiometers cause distortion touching the pcb? And did you desolder the crossfader curve entirely? Cheers.

@@lulur1149 On the crossfader, you can cut the plastic part or completely desolder the switch
