Watching the little kid running through the shop as the lathe spits out flying razor sharp bits of metal was an eye opener. Hopefully the kid will grow up with 10 fingers, 10 toes, 2 eyes and no horrific scars.

Do they not have any safety standards at all? I will say they turn out some pretty amazing machinery. Amazing that it works, and stays together, without one of them getting killed or loosing body parts, yes including eyeballs 😢. God bless.
@@YaoiMastah In any case, Ireland is not. The irish regime only recruits new police officers in Pakistan, because they have no qualms about shooting at the irish people.
These machines are poorly made. The finished machine will be close to useless in a real precision stamping shop. Ive worked around these machines for decades and they could do it right with the machines they have if they actually measured the work and held the tolerances needed for this kind of machine. there was nothing done to ensure the machine would be square . The thing that really rubs Me wrong is when they finish a heavy part they always throw it on the ground so that the next poor guy has to bend down and pick it up. These people have never heard of carts and benches. And still I respect the guys for actually being able to make something.
@@danneumann3274 Indeed. I respect the guys for able to make a machine by eyeballing everything, without a single drawing in sight. But that's about it. Indeed the lack of carts or benches always appals me, but after I went to a lecture called "the mystery of the missing wheelbarrow", I do understand it. Anyway, it is okay to make subpar machines, if you use those to make mediocre machines, which you can use to make better machines, etc. The Japanese, the Germans, the Swiss even the British understood that. And they're known for their precision machinery nowadays. It took them a whole industrial revolution and much of the 20th century to get it right. India and Pakistan still seem stuck in the Victorian era.
I have a 30 ton armada press thats about the same size as their 30 ton press only my armada is made out of 1.125 plate with laminitaed 2" plate around the jaw opening.
Much use of the Pakistani micrometer ( BFH or big f hammer) for the finer adjustments, still the beds on tne machines were old, warped and dented anyway.
Such incompetence is truly breathtaking. One of the few times a component should be cast these people make the frame out of a weldment. I'd love to see this running. I bet the frame twists like a pretzel under load. In addition full rotation presses like this would be illegal in any other country in the world.

I think why MNC company choose india to setup factory. Not only cheap labour, and less safety insurance required. Welding, cutting without PPE what a impressive labour

So sad to see this. All these techniques and processes were developed in the west during 19th century. Even most of the machinery these workshops have was original sold out to them from „smart“ people in the west. What did we get for it in return? Unemployment and meaningless bullish-t jobs in middle management. Sad to see these videos being sold on RUclips as great achievement of Indians and Chinese. Sitting in the dirt and doing things we told them how to do it like monkeys.
