It looks absolutely incredible. I followed you from the beginning. Watched every video from the beginning of this project. You should be really proud of what you achieved in here. And a massive congratulations to the Mrs for staging the property. The decor is stunning.
They say Kitchens sell homes. I think that bathroom would sell that home. It's the perfect size for people with dogs, or in a wheelchair, or people with young children. So many people would love a bathroom that big with a good size shower.

Mr and Mrs. Build It, I have been renovating my home for the past 6 months. It has been so cool to renovate along side. I will admit, Alex left me in the dust at some point as I still have a 7-5. But then it was like he was guiding me for what was to come!

This was very entertaining to follow this remodel. It looks incredible! My only concern would be getting a washer and dryer down that extremely narrow hall to get into the designated space. Hope it's wide enough!

Would loved a price breakdown at the end like flip or flop. I have to imagine you spent a fortune. Especially paying monthly for the house for a year and a half. Hopefully you get some money back for all that hard work at the end.

Awesome renovation.
My only critique since it was put in is the counter or shelf for folding laundry. The build basically forces the new homeowner to buy a front load washer. Seems to me that front load washers are generally more expensive than top load washers and are more prone to leaking if you aren't super diligent in maintaining them. Even then, seals can fail. I work with several guys who either loathe their front load washers or have outright replaced them with top loading ones.
Such a terrific job. I can't believe it's the same place.

Looks amazing!!! I’m so impressed. My only concern is if there is enough room in the hallway to get the washer and dryer installed
They’ll probably have to take the doors off. Then they should leave them off because of that shelf, they can’t have a top loader, and a front loader needs to have its door left open for mold control.
@@MsGail61not true. We have a front load washer that is always kept closed, and in 12 years, never a hint of mold in either of the 2 washers we've had.
No matter the negative mate, there's a big positive and that's you finished it all yourselves and will only be a profit for yas. A lot more than some of the negatives can say. Turned out great really.

Totally agree. RUclips entrepreneurs, don't do anything for views; that's like selling yourself. If you have the skills, then call it a flip, reno, investment property, etc.

The vent was not concealed. He concealed it though.
That kitchen door is still bothering me.
I prefer the way the original stairs were. The new door he built, seems a little flimsy.
Now someone can't have a top loading washer without removing the countertop.
Are we allowed to say master bedroom? What? Yes it's a master.
That's not a good tile job in the bathroom.
Should have used a sliding shower door. So this way you do not have to walk in the sower to turn it on.
Put the electrical panel right next to the hot tub. I'm not an expect, but how is that legal?
I would have put a sun shade about the pergola.

That gap from the sub panel. Why was it run like that?
I know with those gaps, it did not pass inspection, to use used a a garage. That will create emissions from you car, traveling into the house.
I see no HVAC system. And over 1 vent for the kitchen, and 1 for the living room?

Great job! I just wouldn’t have gone with the folding table in the laundry room installation and maintenance on the washer/dryer will be a pain. It also limits home buyers on certain types of washer and dryer. And the tub would be useful for families with kids. It makes bath time easier.

Should put some quarter round or something at the top if those cabinets next to the fireplace to seal up that gap

Ive followed you along the way, me and my father in law, also build my house from zero, and all the time there is one question in my mind, can you say roughly how much youve spended and what is your profit from the house, we've considered many times to start renovating old houses and re sell them, I know that it depends on so many things and as you can build a house for 100k you can do it for a 100 milion as well, and.the working hours you did have their price as well, but we are just curious!
Loved the transformation of the house, yes there has been times I've winched at your practices, but then I'm from the UK and different countries do things differently. Would love you to do a video of total cost, savings that you made compared to bringing in a contractor and price you sold for, so to compare your profit (similar to what Modustrial Maker has done). Keep up the good work, love your channel.
