- Gameplay footage of leveling the AK 5C in Battlefield 2042 from when I was first using it and leveling it to unlock attachments. I'll upload more later, some about builds I would avoid but I did anyways. The AK 5C itself is pretty neutral in its behavior so you'd have to be using it in niche ways to really require specific attachments. Otherwise you can use whatever you want and spam away like it's COD. Yeah it's one of the reasons I've avoided automatic weapons in this game like the ARs. Didn't feel satisfying to just hold left click and swap targets. At least in this case the AK 5C has pretty good audio for it. Used Standard ( 30 rounds ) and High Powered ( 20 ) rounds in the video. It's a personal choice to not run the extended magazines.
If you guys have any good video title suggestions related to shotguns or the 880 let me know. I may have done things with said shotgun ;)

Hey Ravic, how do you managed to record games, game keeps disabling shadow play in-game overlay and no recording (instant replay + normal recording).
Off the top of my head I only recall the two ways that issue occurs. One is by having something "protected" playing in the background or in another window, that would be stuff like Netflix, streaming services, etc. which Nvidia automatically disables recording in ShadowPlay if stuff like that is detected, doesn't matter if a game is also running. The other would be a bad or corrupted install where something like a service is disabled or not running correctly. I'd either do a full reinstall of Nvidia drivers and GFE or make sure nothing else is running launching/playing the game.
This is the main gun I use since it came out. Actually feels like I’m doing something with this gun compared to all the other ones
This gun is pretty good. Fun little semi auto sniper with a 6x scope and high power ammo.

Audio queues and 3D spotting mostly. Yes I like the sound of the AK 5C, doesn't do anything special really but at least it comes with AP grenades.

How does bf play these days? It looks pretty bland and like huge maps with very tiny areas of combat. Does it play like the beta or way different? Thinking of giving it another go

As I mentioned in the video description it's a personal choice. My choice based on the possibility that DICE will go back to lower player counts in the next Battlefield game and they may also return to more normalized weapons, etc. where not every gun in the game has ridiculous extended or drum mags. Something similar to BC2, BF3, or BF4 where weapon classes were more separated and ARs didn't really go beyond 30 round magazines.
@@Ravic great respond. but are they going to not add ext mag tho? because people probably not going to like that since they use to playing fps games with extended mags.. if so what are they going to do with gun attachments are they just going to make it simple like previous game or more in depth
@@ArtzieFPS People were used to playing FPS game without extended mags, like in BC2, BF3, and BF4 there were no extended mags spread across all the weapon classes. The way I see it there are two main reasons DICE went overboard with extended/drum magazines in BF2042. Either it was because the player count was increased to 128 players so more bodies to deal with means more bullets needed or they are just copying COD again and are disregarding game balance just to attract below average players from another franchise. Either way there is a chance they would pull back on that stuff especially with how many "community" comments and posts are made stating they want a BF3 or BF4 remaster. Either the people asking for it don't know what that really means or they really want to go back to that version of Battlefield without sliding, without tac-sprint, without safe vehicle spawns, set map vehicle limits, without extended magazines.

@@ArtzieFPS Technically BF2042 had a lot of guns at launch however the problem is they made it too difficult of a concept for players to grasp. That is with the Plus system used for attachments that let you change a lot of the weapons to become something else entirely and on the fly so one weapon became multiple weapons or types of weapons. Something similar was done with vehicles in that they gave them multiple weapon systems and loadouts that allowed for drastic differences in the same vehicle making one become multiple. Like the Wildcat being a normal LAV or the mobile AA. They put more into the game than I thought they would be able to in the short amount of actual development time they had available ( around 1.5 years of real developer work because of COVID ) however they made it too smart for the current or recent generation of players or players that skipped BF1 and BFV and only played up to BF4.
Could go with Shotgunning or Duck Hunting if were shooting at helis. Hell actually, call it something like “Wabbit Season”.

None, bots have ai in their name so you'd see them in the kills or killfeed.

Audio for it isn't particularly interesting and the weapon model looks awful to me with that forced underbarrel grenade launcher.
Kind of sounds like smacking an empty plastic bottle against something hard. Much prefer the BF4 sound (this applies to most weapons)
Watching the movement in this game breaks my heart. This is just not a battlefield game

It’s just faster bf4 with a slide bhopping and air strafes have always been in battlefield just not this fast I agree tho should be a bit slower and feel a bit heavier but definitely not as slow as say squad more like insurgency or rsv2

@Sheriff_tasty_beans If anything after playing 4, V and 2042 a ton (got 1200 hours in 2042, about 600 in 4 and now over 100 in V cause I'm not big into history shooters) I can say with relative confidence V has the best movement system BUT I think the movement of the V crouch slide with activation via just crouch while moving is best, or at least have the option to either use a dedicated button or crouch itself. For the tactical sprint, in 2042 its just a glorified normal run since its just as fast as 4 and V running with the non-sprint as some odd inbetween. Would rather it be faster but have some sort of recharging cooldown ala COD (which actually did it properly....).
Bunny hopping has been a thing since at least 3 though if not before, only now it's easier to hit to some extent. But lemme tell ya, I prefer it this than zouzouing or vouzouing from 4 lol.
All in all the movement can definitely use quite a few tweaks, could be better, could be worse.
Funny, because this movement is what the 'BF fans' want. It's also why the maps got reworked to be smaller; people want the CoD experience without playing CoD
I'm sad you don't get the same chat reactions like you did in BF4.
All chat is not enabled by default and the ones that are likely to react are also the ones likely to not know they need to turn it on. I still see responses indicating people reacting in team chat on the enemy team based on players on the enemy team who are using all chat to respond to them.

Maybe you can give the close-combat rounds a try? It 4 shots up to 30m and 5 shots up to 75m which is basically the maximum accurate range of this gun anyway. And it comes with a significantly higher fire rate than standard and HP rounds, more than what the in-game stats indicate.
I would but the minimum magazine size is 36 for CC rounds and I feel like that might be stretching it for my personal choice of avoiding extended/drum mags on ARs.
@@Ravic Try the Gew46 with HP extended then. It has exactly 30 rounds per mag, can 5 shots up to 150m, and the first 7-8 shots are dead accurate which should fit your burst fire playstyle well. I used to have a whopping 33% HS rate with it before this season's headshot multiplier nerf.
@@zerophoenix8312 The other reason I've been using the AK 5C is because it sounds good audio-wise and because it can equip the AP grenade which I've been using to help the squad kill armor/tanks.

Not sure how meaningful this is. If you are in a party in the lobby and people are from different areas, North America and Europe for example, seems it doesn't matter who's squad leader. Ended up mostly in EU servers with Sq Leader from USA. From 10+ rounds only one was in US, but it had cheaters so we left.
As far as I've seen with testing it tries to minimize trip latency for everyone in the party. If it can't it does as many as it can. So if there were three people from EU and one from NA it would almost always try for the EU locations first because it would make the overall latency of the party lower. If there are two from the EU and two from NA you'll see a lot more back and forth with regions if the player populations are high enough.

BF4’s bullet spread was the biggest hurdle to the game, once you understand the mechanics you grasp the game fast.
