A downside I wish can be taken care of is the inability to apply MAC filtering in the router. Like I just want only some specific MAC address access to the router connection.
You can actually turn off the wireless connection if you don't want it. I own one and I do turn it off whenever I'm using the Ethernet port directly

A power bank can power up the router. Buy a USB 5v to 12v cable. Or just check RUclips you'll see them. That's what I use on my router and it last for hours

The MTN store I went to didn't have this, so I got the 5G version.
The battery pack is slightly bigger, and I made sure to charge it for hours before using.

The ZLT mtn Z20 router is a scam... It is rubbish, the speed test is lower than my airtel mifi speed.I got mine from Jumia, i have applied for a refund as this product is the worst.
Omo i just got ome yesterday and i am regretting. My mobile hotspot is 100x stable and faster. Imagine . Its so slow.
