Man I am loving the complete transparency and honesty that you put out There. Also loving this new platform way way better than the show was I'm so glad that you're doing it on RUclips. I've let a lot of people know about your new platform and how great it is so hopefully this subscription keep coming in to you Andy, because you sincerely deserve it!!!
If he thinks a 9spd trans will hold up behind a 700hp heavy truck engine he is living in fantasy land!! 40yrs I been owner eaton transmission shop and he has no idea how fast a high torque engine with destroy that 9spd!!
Don't worry Andy I take TV w/ a grain of salt. Sucks that people don't want to work, don't know what's the matter w/ young people. I guess they want to smoke doobies in a van down by the river. Lol.. Love the show ,new sub!
Unfortunately you are correct and wrong. We actually ran into gearing issues with our trans final and rear end gear ratios being off. I don't want 4 miles to get up to speed Im here to do this fast and loud!
Happy I found your RUclips. I was a big fan of the show, and I still have it saved on motortrend. How many of the people from the show still work at the junkyard? Can we get a video on them as well?
TBH it’s kind of disappointing to hear all of this. The Starsky & Hutch car was presented on the show as a customer’s car that you built and gave back to him. And the RR “sold” to your cousin. Yet there they sit. Didn’t realize it was scripted that much. But, still watch the reruns all the time. Carry on. 👍
I appreciate your commitment to the show! It was all about time management, there was no way to finish a car to my standards in the time the production company gave us. Some cars were done in a matter of days.
That a cool update. So most cars were never sold to customers? Is it a liability for you to sell rebuilt cars? Miss your show but glad I found you on you tube.
Richard Rawlings talked about how his show tried talking him into having people come in at night and work on the cars. He said that the guys there wouldn’t put their name on the cars if production has a night crew come in but who really knows. My father owned a video production company and it’s unreal people believe everything they see on tv but in the 90’s there wasn’t reality tv like there is today. He passed away in 99 and I have all his passes from doing live uplink for MLB World Series and stuff he’s done with Oprah, CNN, Inside Edition, Montel. If he was here today I would like to hear what he would say about the CNN’s of the world being so deceptive when he held them in a high regard when he was doing work for them.
So Damascus is an empty warehouse at this point? Or you did the video during the weekend? I get reality TV not being reality. I'm just kinda envious you can afford to pay rent on a place or you own a place that you don't have to have make you money and you're still ok!
Andy, sounds like you need to sell/auction off a lot of these projects you have. You seem overwhelmed with them. Please keep making videos of what the behind the scenes didn’t show or tell us.
Andy I love yourself you and your dad one of the best shows I've ever seen on TV I miss you guys a lot I am so glad I found you guys on RUclips now I did subscribe and I am going to be watching every every episode keep them coming thank you

You cant beat the record for fastest tow truck because you are doing it wrong. The record was set on a circle track not a drag strip!
Unfortunately you are correct and wrong. We actually ran into gearing issues with our trans final and rear end gear ratios being off. I don't want 4 miles to get up to speed Im here to do this fast and loud!
Great stuff Andy!! How is your Dad doing these days?
He's doing great and really enjoying retirement. He still comes into the junkyard to lend a had from time to time.
Happy I found your RUclips. I was a big fan of the show, and I still have it saved on motortrend. How many of the people from the show still work at the junkyard? Can we get a video on them as well?
We’ve got a lot of the same people working at the junkyard, a lot of the upcoming videos are out there so stay tuned to see a little bit of everyone!

What about the maryland tailgate bus that walt built? That was a work of art he did.
Sold it years ago on eBay!
That a cool update. So most cars were never sold to customers? Is it a liability for you to sell rebuilt cars? Miss your show but glad I found you on you tube.
Most of the cars were never finished to be road ready. We still have a lot of work to do before I will sell them with a clear conscience.

One day I might sell them but right now I wanna fix em up and make videos on the projects to post on here for you guys!
Sounds like you need some employees
If a car doesn't have any breaks, that's a really good thing. If it doesn't have any brakes, that's not a good thing.
Good luck .You are overwhelmed.now show pictures of all the finished cars.
Andy I love yourself you and your dad one of the best shows I've ever seen on TV I miss you guys a lot I am so glad I found you guys on RUclips now I did subscribe and I am going to be watching every every episode keep them coming thank you
Thank you for watching the show! I will be uploading videos as often as I can so stay tuned for more.
So, did you not have to sign a NDA? I'm surprised they're letting you be honest about it.
Freedom of speech! Nothing was ever a secret.
You seem a little bitter bro. Your dad was the real star of that show anyway.
I’ll let him know how much you want him back on the show ;)
