I'm working as a Service Engineer of CNC Mechineries since last 6yrs and I'm still at 5L salary package which is very average. People are getting much lower than me with similar experience. If you get placed in a big company then you might get 10L package after 6yrs like frnds in Maruti Suzuki. While another friend of mine did DevOps(not technical IT) course for a year or so after BTech Mechanical and after 2.5yrs he is getting 8L package with work from home. Bro chose money over passion. Once you start earning your passion doesn't remain the top priority. Bank balance does.

naaa IMO, iiit bangalore and iiit hyderabad are best rest iiit have very hectic college life plus you will not get enough time for your personality development. Bangalore and Hyderabad are already it hub of our country.

Nearby my village there is an Uranium mine(UCIL) and i have very closely observed the life of a mining officer. many of the IITKgp passouts work here as Mines Manager, Assistant mines manager etc..
