It was the summer of 2013, I was 16 years old chilling in my room watching music videos on MTV and this song played which was the very first Rich Homie Quan record that I heard at that time. Type Of Way instantly got popular and his name started to blow up around my area. I’m always in a good mood whenever this song plays even to this day. When I started my junior year of HS that fall this song got me through tough times throughout that school year. Now I’m 27 and when I learned of his passing in the break room at my job, my heart dropped. It was the summer of 2013, I was 16 years old chilling in my room watching music videos on MTV and this song played which was the very first Rich Homie Quan record that I heard at that time. Type Of Way instantly got popular and his name started to blow up around my area. I’m always in a good mood whenever this song plays even to this day. When I started my junior year of HS that fall this song got me through tough times throughout that school year. Now I’m 27 and when I learned of his passing in the break room at my job, my heart dropped. I’m still having a hard time comprehending it as I’m typing this. 💔
