I had to quick check my own Japanese residence card just to make sure, but yes it indeed does have English translations on everything. So many letters.
Guys.. nearly all stores in japan sell the old El Paso kits
At least in California, grocery and liquor stores have signs that say they card anyone under 30. I'm over 40 and still get carded. At this point, they're paying more attention to legal alcohol sales than the fentanyl on the street lol
Did you guys get booted from 82 in LA?
Pete must be so fun to hang out with......
Ooh man, Old El Paso... my mom would make just like the most basic spicy minced beef with some grated cheese to sprinkle on top. My childhood... man. I miss her...
We prefer missionary as a family they changed the name to Santa Maria but they kept the wraps called missionary becuase how popular and know thise are.
@@Chevalier_knight So my phone notification for your comment just said "We prefer missionary as a family..." and I was like, BRUH🤣
as a 3rd world country citizen 25$ for a sandwiches hurt my soul.
hell i only got 25$ for a request to compose a 90 second song on fiver.
As a dice/craps dealer Pete is correct that the player does control the outcome to some degree also it is the only game that you can play with the house edge/advantage aka the dark side
Where can I find pete's twitch?
It’s premiertwo on twitch
Ya know what, at this point fuck the quadratic equation, how about we spend an entire year of high school learning what identification documents from other countries look like and how to read them. That would actually be a good use of our time.
L.A. prices are crazy. There's a mom and pop sub place around here that does 20" subs for $16
@@Mosssflower Sub prices have gone up. Eating at pizza shops isn't as affordable as it used to be.
I used to bartend for a national US chain restaurant and they had a dumb policy that we had to card anyone who looks under 39 and a half. We even had these big obnoxious buttons we had to wear on our shirt with the policy printed right on it. It was so annoying having to explain it constantly when people would see it. I would always say something like it was the company’s cutesy way of saying we card anyone under 40.
At that point you just walk up to a server and go "I am at least 21. Look into my cold dead salaryman eyes and tell me I don't look 40."
My brain is weird, I sometimes get cravings for foods I've never had in my life. Not even in a way that's like "ooh that looks good, I want to try it" I'm not sure how to explain it lol
so my favorite top 5 food as a Latino is 1 Mongolian chicken 2 pupusas 3 burrito 4 torta 5 pozole
"YANK PETE" should've gone to a Supermarket Deli For sandwiches like I do up here in "Greater Sacramento" area. RALEY'S/BEL-AIR/NOB HILL, SAFEWAY, & SAVE MART is where I go for good sandwiches that aren't an Arm & A Leg ! And they're UNION too !
3:20 Hey, Mexican guy raised in California, yeah uhm, mexican food had it all my life, now you got to understand where I came from. I was born in the US raised by mexican immigrants. All I knew was Mexico and mexican food, 😅
So when people told me they dont eat this stuff all the time i was in shock! Lol tortas, tacos etc. 😂😂😂😂
For me, i didnt speak English until i went to school!
I also have the tendency of introducing all the tortas and the tacos de lengua and the best tamales you can think of!!
Craps bcoz it's the only game where you can say 'Baby needs a new pair of shoes'
In Vegas they publish the stats of what the casinos pay out. The pokies pay out the highest of 97 cents per dollar. The table games have far worse odds, I did crap at Craps...
Why is this “highlight” 16 minutes long?
This video making me hungry
Comfrot food. Japanese definately curry. American hmm mexican is a solid answer but I would probably pick pizza or a burger/sandwhich.
a lot of US bars will accept passports/ID’s from other countries especially if it’s a chain bar…at least in WI 😅
Coming in a year later, but Pete is right. Craps is the game of kings.
I've been in Kanto for 13 years and I still haven't been to a single "Mexican" restaurant I would rate higher than a 6.
Yen is susly diving, its as if its gonna need oxygen pretty sooooonish
Damn, Totinos pizzas are 4 bucks now. At least in silicon valley they are…
Ichiran is packed of foreigners is so funny
When I was working at Walmart if you look 40 we didn't need id to sell alcohol.
Best trash taste guest ever
Everything in LA is overpriced. I lived in Burbank, and it was insane, and that was pre-COVID.
Party pizzas are the ones he meant
Goes to LA
Orders extra crap that's like $5 per sandwich
WhY iS iT sO eXpEnSiVe1!1!1
I don’t mean this in any negative way at all but Pete is straight up the trash taste version of will neff, I love both of them so much but it’s always so funny to me how similar some of their mannerisms are
*Sigh* Burritos are NOT Mexican food. It’s either Tex-Mex or Cali-Mex.
I know exactly what barcade this is lmao it’s pretty dope. They would’ve loved it
Once in US i've seen security checking ID of a fkn ELDERLY couple, before entering the café. I've never seen such bullshit in any other country.
So, if feeling homesick, you eat food from another country???
For reference Im mexican. And the type of mexican food they are talking about is like....american sushi. its sushi...but its not the real deal.
LA needs a valid ID not only to verify your age (so var won't be shut down for letting a minor in) but also in case if you start a ruckus/fight they need to know each person has an ID so the police can identify you.
It was a valid ID
@ChichillasGM I know... I'm just stating the reason as to why you need a valid ID.....
Rip pete he wouldve loved cs cases 🕊🕊🕊
Joey is wrong. Ichiran legitimately tastes good. Just because something is popular doesn’t mean it’s a trap or overrated
It's 5/10 just like yoshinoya or any non-westerners will say something about McDonalds Burger is great since they've known Burger from McDonalds as their first experience.
McDonald’s is and has always been meh. Up until recently it was just the go to for cheap.
@@bimapriambada1098McDonalds in certain countries can be good but the ones in America are trash.
But the Japanese passport is written in English..

Stop Ubering in LA. Rent a car
Renting a car doesn't really work if you plan on drinking...
@@dealbreakerc Never stopped LA residents
Man, fuck the strip, When in vegas visit red rocks national conservation area!
Blackjack is designed in such a way that the dealer will almost always get a blackjack. And since they play last, a lot of people will go over 21.
Blackjack does not see the dealer "almost always" get backjack (requires a 10 or a face card and an ace on the initial draw) lol
Meanwhile I bought beer at the grocery in Germany and never got carded
Meanwhile your entire country is full of misogynistic alcoholics.
I understood the vegan restaurant thing. Girlfriend wanted to "treat me" and took me to a place called Chicago Diner. Pretty damn good chicken fajitas, when I told her she lit up and told me it wasn't chicken. If all vegan food tasted that great I may have converted, no joke.
The issue is that the taste can be fine but the food is really toxic and the majority are well informed that is toxic and will just eat fish if they are looking to eat less animal product's, the vegan fake meats have bean oils usually 4 to 5 kinds per item and its supper toxic for human consumption healthy living people refuse to eat it because they are the most informed
classic pete!
wow all these places need bad reviews.
Not gonna watch it but he got kicked out for being way too loud didnt he? I mean the man is nice and all but he is the loudest american I have ever seen. You can hear him from two streets away. Putting all other muricans to shame
The JPY is tanking that's why every youtuber and their mothers are going to Japan. Notice how your favorite youtuber has a Japan video recently?
I really hate to break it to you, but that has nothing to do with the JPY tanking. The JPY has been falling for a long time and the Japanese economy has been mostly stagnant for decades.
Japan is just popular and in recent years has been more interested in getting foreigners in.
@@Official_MikeyTThat's literally what the OP said.
@@Official_MikeyT thats what he said
@@Official_MikeyT on jan 1 2021 one usd was worth 103 yen, now it's worth about 150. The actual reason for the change clearly cannot be years of stagnancy or newfound interest in japan (in fact it's mostly because the Fed in the US raised interest rates so owning USD is more valuable than owning yen)
@@Official_MikeyTthat and with it being tanked, now the third largest economy, and Abe being assassinated, there's not a lot of confidence in Japan right now.
Took a look, and the JPY right now looks as much as it was back in the early days of the bubble popping, early 90s. It's a good time to go, or buy imported items right now.
L.A.
You get what you vote for. Keep getting people that DO NOT UNDERSTAND ECONOMICS in the seats, and you pay the price. Enjoy.
Apologies to the Americans who can see this is absolute idiocy.
To the rest of you: Stop defending this nonsense. The rest of the non-Islamic world takes a much more relaxed approach and it works just fine.
Ichiran is the most boring Ramen out there ngl.
Why does he have a Japanese ID? Isn't he American or british
He lives in Japan. Therefore he has Japanese ID. I am Canadian and I have a British driver's license because I live in the UK. It's not rocket science.
America is the worst...
You all always go to the most touristy places in the US and then complain on how expensive the food is. How about going outside the cities. You'll still find good food where the prices are decent.
One of the most british things Connor has ever done is correct Pete on how to pronounce an American food item of something he's never actually tried. That said, no one tell Pete they changed his cheap pizzas (and that they also cost about $4 a piece today).
What's up with those goats tho? Are you 16?
Meanwhile in Japan they either sell you the beer without question or simply ask without the need of your ID.
Meanwhile in Japan they allow drunks to slumber in the streets and for men to grope women on a daily basis.
I’m always grateful that I grew up in LA so I’ve had some of the best food you can in the states but god damn so the prices hurt
Bwuhaha the amount of delusion in that sentence. Sure California has some decent restaurants and trucks but it’s not even in the top 5 best states for food.
@@KRIAJK crazy how you not only didn’t read where I said “some of” but have the audacity to state that it isn’t in the top 5 when LA alone beats the vast majority of places when it comes to food as a whole.
You need an ID in the states. Period. Nothing to do with that particular doorman. He needs an ID to scan
Tex-Mex is just bad Mexican food with cheese, fight me.
I guess as is SoCal Mex food but that’s a matter of taste. Nachos are best Tex Mex
Tex-Mex is its own thing. If you’ve never been to Texas to have authentic Tex-Mex then I feel bad for you. Before you say anything stupid like I’d rather go to Mexico to eat authentic Mexican food just remember that 60-65% of Texans are Hispanic and from Mexico. Steer clear of Austin.
