Hi Rob, your on course instructions are so helpful and necessary for good scores. How about some video on the high over the tree, and low under the branches shots.
Very instructive video Rob. Every time I'm faced with these lies I start to try & remember what to do. So I just took an index card, folded it in half & wrote Ball above Feet on one side & Ball below Feet on the other. Wrote down all the suggestions for each. I'm going to put it in my bag & when these come up I'm taking it out, reviewing it & then making the right adjustments. I'm going to watch the 1st video again & do the same. Thanks!
Hi Rob, first time viewer, liked the video a ton. I've always known ball above goes left, ball below goes right but didn't really understand why... the golf tee on the club face and changing the shaft angle really brought it home for me, not to mention the swing plane differences... good video
Very interesting video thank you… could you talk about ball position regarding the awkward lies, I understand it is linked to where the club Bottoms out but is there a common placement if it’s under or above feet? S&T changed my game from 11hcp to a solid 8 thank you!
Thanks Rob! My key takeaway: Practice swing and look at where the club hits the ground. Adjust as needed until the club consistently hits the desired spot… also ball below aim more left; ball above, aim more right
Hi Rob Thanks for more good, logical re-enforcement. Would imagine that "swing hard, stop quick" could work here to help maintain balance. What do you say? -Be good, stay safe-Russ
Hi Rob, great stuff, particularly useful for me playing on a course with many slopes 👍 On course videos certainly mix it up so hope there are plans for playing from the rough coz try as I might, it's not uncommon 🙄🙏
seems to me that turf interaction (toe or heel digs) as often as not counteracts the shot-shape tendencies of uphill and downhill lies. but maybe that's just my strike quality.
For the ball below your feet you added one more club, did you add/subtract a club for the ball above your feet or was the 9i the proper club for the distance you had?
Thanks Rob!
Great video!
Thanks for the tips, ball below my feet is my Achilles heal.
I get so much out of your videos you explain everything so well
Nice job Bob
Quick question where is ball position for upward lies & downward lies.
Thanks

I like the on-course content. Awkward lies don't get the attention they need in lessons imo. Thanks for the help.
Hello, what if the ball moved after trial?

Appreciate the re-enforcement Rob. Thanks and stay safe-

sorry I mean above and below feet lies as addressed in this video.

Ball below feet is almost an automatic shank for me.
