Bearing wise these are ment too last, well at least the heavy duty nature is designed to withstand the 3000 RPM plus use if I would say probably set up wrong...the thing is these set up at half their max pace would work well, last long and be quiet and thats where they will shine.
Do you feel like the sound profile was consistent from fan to fan or do you feel like there are some tolerance variance that arctic needs to nail down to get people off their backs about noise complaints on the p12 max?
They do get rougher loud at the Max load, inconsistent bearing noises, perhaps the 6 year warranty should be attempted in your cas3 David, maybe just a faulty one obviously. Hopefully quality control remains high with Arctic ...
I bought a set of 3 just a few days ago and thankfully they seem to be fine. I don't hear unusual noises coming from them. Maybe some of the first samples out of the production line had some issues? If I were you, I would return and ask for replacement which hopefully will be fine.
Cheers Broski, yeah these be bad boys on the value front leaning forward, I agree.
Thanks All, It seems like apart from Arctic Amazon be holding these Fans, hopefully not too ransom lolz
If the price is right than Price for Performance WINS

These RIP the NOCTUA's if you factor in their price...
what about the noise profile? I have bought 2, but 1 has some high pitch bearing noise.
