I’m a CU alum and former athlete, and I 100% share your thoughts; spot on. I believe next week’s game is a trap game for sure if we are not prepared and looking forward to the Big 12 championship. OSU is still coached by Lundy and he will have them ready to play.
@@Swole_Geek I have 7 alums in my family. I completely agree with you. I just hate the hype, the same hype for UFC, Texas Tech and recently Utah. It’s time to give the buffs the respect they deserve.
Salaam, The last remaining games are spoiler games! We passed the test vs Utah. The second test will be Kansas. This matchup presents a clear and present danger to our aspirations. This team is hungry, and physical. They are playing their best ball since they have nothing to lose but something to gain. Beating the upper echelon of our conference could warrant a bowl appearance. Kansas sees this game as its ultimate test. They will be severely tested on offense and on defense. Adding to the mix, a national televised game adding to their excitement and motivation. However, CU presents a clear present danger to their hopes and aspirations. This is by far their best team that they will play. Our team processes an NFL style offensive and defensive sets; and gifted players who are excelling in it. They have not met a group of wide receivers and other skill positions with all this team speed. Kansas secondary has matched up with very slow and less talented wide receivers . I see some cockiness from some of their secondary and their comments they have made.. but watching the film on their secondary, which is quite good. But they have not had the opportunity to play against our type of receivers, which in my mind all our NFL bound. This secondary is aggressive and motivated. As I see it, they can be demoralized if they allow a couple long gains and or touchdowns. Our OC cannot play it safe and conservative against this defense! We must initiate a game plan, which focus on to get-off our skill receivers and backs. I focus on their Defense, because we will win or lose based upon our deciphering and destroying their secondary. Clever playing calling and deep routes to intimidate their secondary, especially if some of these passes are caught for a touchdowns. Screen plays and quick tosses to our running backs could be effective way to eliminate their aggressiveness; screen plays and quick slants to our receivers could spell trouble for their secondary and front 7. Travis must be fed the ball in this game! This would open up it up for our other receivers. Making them to pick their poison. They could disguise their coverages To make it appear to be man to man coverages on Travis, when in fact, it could be a cover 3 in disguise. Kansas will be a tough out! Moreover, we could blow them out if they come out flat and demoralized after quick touchdowns.
Two things can happen in the beginning of the game. CU defense lays an egg 🥚 and Kansas drives down the field first possession or…. Shedeur lays an egg 🥚 and the OL gets dominated and the run game is to a stall first possession possibly a sack first possession. However, then they start playing ball 🏈.
Kobe def has the chance to take Trav out the game. CU has an average at best running game. Kansas has a really good Dline. They are def gonna get pressure on shedure most teams still have just not as bad as last year. Shedure gonna be holding the ball this game cause of the defense will try to take trav away and they have a CB in Kobe who can do that. He is a 1st round pick after all (Kobe) going against the number 1 pick in the draft. With all that said CU 35 - 17
I’m a little worried because CU has a slight tendency to fall apart offensively when they lose momentum so as long as they get the ball rolling early it should be an easy win. If they stumble early it’s gonna be tough game

I agree with Matt never underestimate your opponent! Never think it’s going to be easy just bc they’re 8-2.
I just can't see Kansas coming up with an effective gameplan. Everybody on Colorado is pretty dam good and collectively there an iron fist!
Travis and Shedeur are probably NOT playing in that Shrine Bowl for reasons Matt mentioned.
Why are people worried about Kansas, I don’t get it. The buffs have proven how good they’re all yr long. We good in this game. Go buffs.
Because Kansas just upset Iowa and BYU. What makes you think they can’t upset CU?

Kansas may have been a trap game if they hadnt taken down but I think. Wdyt@@Swole_Geek

You have to play the game no matter how good you are, it’s not impossible to lose.
Matt, the word is, Shedeur is playing because, “He’s trying to improve his wr’s draft stock”
Hopefully J5 plays.... If Jimmy plays, that stretches the field...
I definitely hope J5 plays.
Hasn't practiced all week
@@shorespetaccommodations8797Is Micah Welch back?

Shrine bowl is in Dallas and I believe that's why they all decided on that bowl
If chiefs draft hill green , it's not gonna be good bro. Denver should get both linebackers.

You should have a sense of urgency. However, this is not a big test. More like a open book test with a substitute teacher😂 Buffs 42, Jayhawks 21
Love the original feel. Keep bullsh#@t out matt!!

Last season, CU knocked Skettebo out of the game... CU will not have trouble with AZ State. This game is their last true test, until the CFP.
What happened to the coach JB show??
@@nsteelersrock161 He probably got block, cuz he said they were gang banging when they took the ball back from the ball boy in the Utah game.
