Absolutely enjoyed this interview of VN. So nice to know the reality of VN. I salute her for not bowing to the Market. I see myself in her.
Tara was such a hit!! I had moved abroad to work and I would call my sister just to hear in short about Tara episode, the calls were expensive but I had to know what happened, it was that much of a craze. My sister would actually write to me after every episode in a blue aerogram and I would wait to hear the story like a family waits to hear about them. Thank you Sidharth for interviewing such legends

A truly enlightened women too advanced for her times . Too much for men to digest . Even now you can see weak men commenting negative about this interview. So candid and sweet . What a natural talker and so sensible to say it ended and they moved on with bitterness and still maintaining your self freedom . Living your lives means owning everything you have done and having regrets still being so confident and strong .

@kesarwanisweta Of course, it was primarily on the man. But, the woman can not absolve herself from being the partner in crime. She is freely admitting that she didn't want her lover to get a divorce.. she was okay with him cheating on his wife even if it caused quarrels in that family, yet wasn't serious about her very 'relationship' that caused all the problems. That's the height of selfishness.

I am a little disappointed. My father cheated on my mom and left us for another woman, so somehow home wreckers are not my cup of tea. Love is love is BS. There are lives involved, and can cause permanent damage. I hope people realise before justifying such acts. Causing lifelong trauma is not being liberal.

I remember the time when a lot of women came out against Alok Nath during me too and normal people were bashing those women because the image Alok Nath had in their minds. It is so sad that women always have to face the bashing. A person can have a complete different real personality than their reel or onscreen image.

I love how people are judging and calling her the " home wrecker " sorry but let me explain! times were different then.. people stayed in unhappy marriages because they didn't know how to or they thought they couldn't leave cause of family or this society etc etc.. marriages were arranged, people were not compatible so when they met someone who they clicked with.. they were too committed n it landed them in a complicated affair or relationship.. Some people didn't have a. say or choice on who they were marrying or understanding of what marriage is lol.. at least nowadays there's freedom to make decisions on your own, no one is expected to be married before the age of 25, and non of that black mailing by grandparents or parents.. BUT unfortunately, even today I can count at least 7-8 whom I know that are unhappy, are in marriages because of children, or scared to face the reality, or just cannot leave cause of family or this society... ( no there isn't any extra marital affairs) Where is self love in this? why are people forced to stay in marriages just because there's children involved? how toxic is that? all lies.

No no, amar upadhyay will always b the original mihir virani, smriti irani still looks great as tulsi virani to me opposed to her real life persona, sakshi tanwar is also greatly missed by me,so its a myth that ppl dnt wanna watch these ppl on screen again or hav forgotten them

She is being so casual about having an affair with a married guy. Did she ever thought how this could have impacted the kids. Kuch bhi bakwas. I am glad she got thrown out of her own production. In the name of women empowerment she is justifying being a victim.

Why did she not go to the police after the Alok Nath incident? SK should have asked this question. Rape was a heinous crime then too. Granted how our system is, there are still some good police officers in Mumbai Police who could have ensured justice. She was a celebrity, not some abla naari.
