A very big plus (and probably the biggest for me) that you failed to mention here, is that whenever there is a false alarm, all you have to do is simply press the button on it instead of yelling across the house to tell the person on the speaker that everything’s okay. I’ve had to do this many times, and it’s really no big deal!
It was because of this reason, and this reason alone that I stopped using my other one.

My Dad used to have the Kanega then switched to Apple. Then he fell and broke his neck and the Apple watch fall detection did NOT work. (He never fell with Kanega so I can't compare). He is okay, by the way, no paralysis or any longterm damage; just 3 months in a neck brace 😞 I met someone who fell while rock climbing and the Apple watch worked, but I wonder if it's as good at detecting falls from a smaller distance? Would love to see any numbers/studies.

Paige thanks for your comment. Here’s an article I found, but it doesn’t appear to give any solid numbers. Hopefully it’s helpful

Angela, Fair enough. I know personally that my grandma doesn't travel much but that can be important for some people. Thanks for your comment and thanks for subscribing. Any other topics you'd like to see more of?
