Good video. I didn't think to use Goodreads on Kindle rather than my phone.
Is there a way to add a NEWLY RELEASED book that I purchased via my Kindle Paperwhite. It is NOT showing up on Goodreads as an available Amazon purchase. When I try to do so via the goodreads app on my iPad, it says that I have to be a librarian to do so, which I am not. Trying to do so via my Kindle device, generates an error. I reside in the UK and my purchases are obviously linked to my Amazon UK account.

I think it's only US based models. I haven't seen one on my kindle.
Based on my experience, it depends on the region of your kindle/Amazon account. If Goodreads is available for the region your account belongs to, then it will show up on your device. I have two kindles and two accounts, when I switched them that’s what I observed.
What surprised me was that Kindles are capable to open Goodreads without a VPN even in the regions which the website is blocked.
Where is goodreads blocked?
In Latin America the goodreads interface is not available on any Kindle

Goodreads needs a UI change
When you said North America, you always named US and Canada, but you never named México. Why?
Because if we started to include other countries, we would have to include all 23 countries in North America. And outside of Canada and america, in terms of the e-reader market, they are of little consequence
It's not a whole lot of e-readers or e-paper technology being sold in barbados, jamaica, or Dominica
