A new candidate would need to consider what a loss would do to their political future. Trump has a lot of energy behind him. It'll be hard to catch up and overcome. You'll also have someone running with no experience as president. For the most part, it would be better to run for president in four years. @@duvell1 I understand the want for reparations but historically getting them to pay has not been easy. The Canadian Native community doesn't have to pay taxes. Something like that might be easier to get. I could see that if Kamala Harris is in the position of president you could pressure her for the year to see what results you could get.
