What a beautiful re-record. I see a LOT of improvement. Definitely brought tears to my eyes. (Also made my heart a little weak...not gonna lie.) Beautiful work. The vocals were absolutely amazing. So was the instrumental. It brought so much emotion just with the instrumental. But with the vocals? Even more beautiful! It was so well done. And this re-record deserves all the praise it gets. I'll be honest, I came in to this thinking I wouldn't hear a difference -- not that I doubt your ability, but I'm a tone-deaf skinny white boy with no musical knowledge whatsoever, so I thought it would fly completely over my head -- but I listen to Hoping (the album, not just the song) often enough that the differences really stood out to me. Hi, it's me again, it's been 4 years and I'm back again, yesterday I had to make the hardest decision of my life and let my beloved furbaby go. I inherited him from my mother when she passed in 2017, I did my best, I gave him 6 more years, the vets told me that he looked fantastic for his age and condition, but he had cancer and his body was filling with fluid making it hard to breathe and his heart to beat. I had to uphold my promise to my mom, to not make his quality of life suffer, and I let him go to cross that rainbow bridge and go back to her.
Well this was beautiful, but heartbreaking... holy crap..

My uncle passed away back in December 2017 listening to this made me cry, because I really miss him, and wish he were still here, he would have turned 45 years old this year, the reason why he died at just 44 was because he had a lot of health problems, the day before he died he, had a small storke at some point then a small heart attack, and that day he was having truble breathing, took one final breath and died. theres so much to lose right now, its so painful to know any day that it could be lost so easily i am so focused on spending all the time i can with the one i love this is so painful because it could be ither of us but, most likely me how ever, i cant help but focus on them. its so sad being so distanced that one time we met i was so happy to see him i gave him the biggest hug, but if only i knew who he would mean to me i would have done so much more i wouldnt have let tiredness take me over and make me go home i would have stayed and talked more i would have done so much it hurts being in this situation, i just want to see him.
My only complaint about the old one was that it was too quiet, I don't see why it had to be re-recorded.
That's not me being ungrateful for this one though or thinking it's bad, it's amazing and I love it, just that I have no clue why people were asking for you to re-record the old one.
Again though, this one is great and I'm not trying to sound disrespectful or ungrateful. lol
