Come si pronunciano le parole inglesi come FOCUS e CONTINUOUS?
Quelle parole che finiscono con la sillaba atona -US o -OUS che vengono molto spesso pronunciate male dai madrelingua italiani (e non solo).
Nel video di oggi ti spiego la “regola” e ti faccio allenare con tante parole così non avrai più dubbi su come pronunciare questo tipo di parole.

Ho trovato molto utile anche ridurre la velocità del video ed esercitarsi molte volte nella pronuncia, puoi aumentare gradualmente la velocità, sia con i tuoi video ed anche con video originali di persone famose trovate su RUclips, grazie stai dando un nuovo impulso al mio apprendimento

I don't know why, but I pronounced "focus" wrongly, with a [jəz] phonetic ending, just like it was written with a (*) - USE orthography ending. I don't why I got such a bad habit (maybe I started under the influence of French, when I was studying that language. It is weird, anyway, since the word is a Latin one -- with no "ü" or [ju] sound in Latin, obviously...). I'll try to correct it, from now on.
--- As to the other words, I discovered that I used to pronounce all of them correctly, except for "jealous", whose FIRST syllable I had always pronounced with the vowel in "sea", "meat", "clean" and only now I discover I was wrong for so many years!
