Congratulations Akshat ! I feel blessed to share classroom with such a remarkable entity in rising Looking forward to your great Career ahead in NYUAD, imbued with mesmerizing experiences and memories of your lifetime.
Congratulations Akshat! This certainly was helpful as I'm about to start my senior year and my applications to universities, from which NYU is an option. Hope to see more videos soon.
Congrats! The title is still clickbait though because the 3% acceptance rate is pretty misleading. It’s that low because not many prospective students put NYUAD as their first choice and NYUAD almost never admits a student that has put it as 2nd or 3rd choice. Most people applying to NYU put the New York campus as first choice and Abu Dhabi as 2nd or 3rd, bringing down the “acceptance rate” to 3%. I’m not trying to take away from your achievement tho! It’s awesome that you got in. Just providing the full background.
Noo. NYUAD is extremely competitive. There are many who opted for NYUAD as their first choice because of the unique majors and minors it provides and the faculty is just top notch. It is definitely an amazing accomplishment for this guy because they accept the most unique students around the world. NYUAD comes with the IVYs.
@@nithinganesh5313 Yeah, I totally agree that getting admitted to NYUAD is amazing. It’s incredible that such a great school is present that gives out such generous financial aid, which attracts lots of applicants. It certainly is very competitive. But claiming that it’s just as hard to get into as other Ivies like Harvard, Princeton and other top schools like MIT and Stanford is misleading if you compare it only on the basis of acceptance rate. Out of ~77K applicants to NYU, 14K applied to the Abu Dhabi campus. NYUAD accepts around 500 students every year. If you compare students based on stats, NYUADs students, on average, will have lower scores. But that doesn’t really matter as they value diversity and other things more. These bigger universities have larger student bodies and probably a different, stronger applicant pool. NYUAD heavily weighs demonstrated interest and is one of the reasons they have such a high yield rate (along with the generous fin aid obviously). Plus the Ivy League is just an athletic conference and the worth of a university shouldn’t depend on it being a part of it. I mean look at MIT and Stanford. I hope this clears up any confusion regarding my message. :)
Hey, would you happen to have a list of schools offering aid or some self prepared resource that might help me in applying next year? Probably some data you collected on school's aid policies or something?
Hlo guys Anyone applied to NYU AD for class 2027 ( ED 1) got Candidate weekend invitation ? Please share Do anyone know when they generally invite applicants ?
I didnt really get good grades in my 9,10,11. I do have a few certificates tho. I’ll have my lor, essay ready, can i still get in with 100% scholarship ???
There is actually no age criteria. While most students apply during their final year of high school, there’s also people who started with their first year of college somewhere else, dropped out and applied to NYUAD!
Yo, im right now in my last year of A level, but i really want to know the academic requirements to get into NYU as its not listed in their website (from my POV) i even tried calling them. So if anyone knows, what are the grades that i would need for an engineering degree, *British curriculum*

It’s acceptance rate is 2.8% and goes till 3.5% at times... and it isn’t misleading :)
