What a brilliant voice and performance. The first time I hear Michael Sust, bass-baritone sings. I really enjoyed it. It truely feels like Christmas! God bless he and his Orchestra who accompanied him.
Thank you, that's very kind of you. This song has the the message so well embedded in in. t is a privilege to be the herald and let the voice be used to bless people like you.
A bass baritone for real. What a majestic version. The moving verses that we never hear usually. I'm thinking of my mom this morning and our last Christmas together. Her favorite carol. God bless you sir. A new fan.
Thanks John. Jussi Bjorling is a legend - I certainly feel unworthy of that compliment, but thank you for ascribing the glory to the Lord. He gets it all. MS
O Holy Night The stars are brightly shining It is the night of our dear Savior's birth Long lay the world in sin and error pining 'Til He appeared and the soul felt its worth A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn. Fall on your knees O hear the angels voices. O night divine O night when Christ was born O night divine, O night, O night divine. Led by the light of Faith serenely beaming, With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand. So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming, Here came the wise men from Orient land. The King of Kings lay thus in lowly manger; In all our trials born to be our friend. He knows our need, to our weakness is no stranger, Behold your King! Before Him lowly bend! Behold your King! Before Him lowly bend! Truly He taught us to love one another; His law is love and His gospel is peace. Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother; And in His name all oppression shall cease. Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we, Let all within us praise His holy name. Christ is the Lord! O praise His Name forever, His power and glory evermore proclaim. O night divine, O night, O night divine

Yes, my friend. A glorious moment in human history. I love singing this song not only for its wonderful melody line, but for the clear presentation of the gospel. "...chains shall He break, for the slave is our brother - and in His name all oppression shall cease." How marvelous a hope. The world needs to hear this message in these times of oppression.
@@pastornator2519 Thank you sir for the reply. How low notes under the low A should you be able to hit to be defined as a bass-baritone? Around E2-D2 ? Wish you all the best.
My all-time favourite Christmas carol. Greetings from Ireland 🙏
Yes indeed. I love your country - visited there 9 years ago searching for my wife’s ancestry line
Beautiful rendition of this wonderful Carol 🙏

O Holy Night
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our
dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world
in sin and error pining
'Til He appeared
and the soul felt its worth

Inspired by his moving song ,
the Archangel Gabriel descends to announce the arrival of Christmas to the people of this world
Merry Christmas㊗️

Hang in there
I am rooting for you
Good luck!
I love your singing voice is so beautiful and pretty
Mr Michael Sust You Have Made My Christmas Better, You Are A Lot Better Than Bryn Terfel I Truly Say That With Confidence.
Lovely and
It is beautiful by a tenor but superb by a bass
Oh, you said it perfectly. I thought it was so commanding... You Will hear the message of the angels.
Brilliant Voice. What would be the diffrence between a bass-baritone and baritone?
Bass-baritone has a darker color and can hit the low notes under low A still strong. It is more like a dramatic baritone.
@@pastornator2519 Thank you sir for the reply.

It’s more the strength and quality than the range. Many baritones have the low tones in the range, but lose the juice around the B flat and below
Hello brother, glad to know - both challenging posts 😉. Where are you located?
👍 👍
Probably not… but I got to study with Pavarotti’s voice teacher, maestro Arrigo Polla
A brave attempt.
Why are you mic'd? If you really have a good technique, there should be no need for a mic with such a small orchestra.
For the recording
Obviously! such a strange complaint. @@pastornator2519
Better than Pavarotti
