idea that this kind of competition is exist before I watch the
animation. Makes me really want to try the dance, especially the
standard. Though I never have any dancing experience yet.

Passion is here, most for the music, something is missing, connection and fellings between the participants, I don't know anything about concourses, but as Latina we have so much passion for the dance, the lyrics and at all.
It doesn’t claim to be that kind of Latin music. What will be Latina equvalent type of dancing? Somerhing that is slow and romantic.

@@gc8589 also, this is only one of the 4 international style latin dance, the other 3 being ruma, sama and paso doble. they are not "Latino" dancing, it certainly isn't salsa and such. I don't think any international style dancer in their right mind will claim it is dancing from south America. It is like say American style football (as in NFL) is the same as soccer (also is called football). a long time ago, they may have a common root but they had split way a LONG time ago.
I think I know what you mean. But it is about classy, elegant movement and no "vulgar" Passion. Sorry but I found no better word for it. However you can't compare this to what you know and love. Both finds my admiration. 🌷

I like it because it was all in spanish. i cannot comment much bcoz I am not really a professional dancer i know how to dance with some basic movements. but what i have observe is the speed and the movement was amazing.
