even as a kid, I loved how BADASS the intro music was... and then you get into the game, all amped up, "yeah I'm gonna totally avenge these two characters whom I had no time at all to form an attachment to" and all of a sudden it's this loungy sunshine groove soundtrack set to EVERYTHING AROUND YOU FUCKING EXPLODING INTO PIECES. genius.
Good old game, but the opening always creeped me out.
I played the shit out of this game. And listened to that intro tune over and over again lol. I got this game for $5 back in the day in a bin with Xargon: Beyond Reality, Epic Pinball, and some other shareware.
A rare combination of Adlib OPL music and digitized samples
Wish this game wasn't so choppy. It makes it really hard to control.
I still play this game lol it's so cool
still runs great in dosbox.... you get the full version online now no prob
Lol I remember getting this at a flea market for a dollar.
The days of keeping a boot floppy with an alternative himem.sys
+YourLocalGP This game pissed me off when I was a kid because I didn't understand how to make it work. D: I had a shareware or demo of it on a Games Empire disc, and every time I tried to start it, it would just lol at me with its runtime error. :|
I know this comment is from four years ago, but fuck me, the nostalgia! This game killed my old PC so hard because of that.
Its funny, the games that we treasured in days of yore, are like a cheap cell phone games to the kids no a day.
It's a fairly free-roaming shmup where you have a wide area to fly around and bomb the shit out of targets. It's pretty decent, though the music is what makes it. Big suprise given that it's from a demogroup.
What's surprising about that?
The demo-scene is mainly talented coders. Either in coding music or in coding programs.
The soundtrack was composed by Kenny Chou, aka C.C. Catch aka ProphecyX.
@Ceekur Yeah and its actually what makes it a bit timeless. It still looks kinda cool.
You know you were rich enough when you didn't need to run memaker to enable this game sounds
face at 1:11 XD

Epic music in this game. Great memories :D
