Very nice car I have a 77 carousel red trans am It has a 400/4sp white interior I’ve purchased an LS1 automatic from a corvette Considering doing the swap 400 seems to be a little tired and under powered. Great looking car
What vehicle did you use for the headers, also any place it’s hitting? Shorties or long tubes. My brother is getting ready to do his 79 headers where the only part wasn’t sure of. Was pretty sure f body would work
@@louisgreenberg5384 just spray them black or whatever but to open the hood of a Pontiac Trans Am and see Corvette is ridiculous ! All that attention to that car and they didn't bother to correct that ?
Some funny info going on here. PHS documentation proving is a WS6...........sorry WS6 did not come out until '78. Also, the statement on the GM ecu location.......GM computers are located in the engine bay on LS vehicles.
@F-Body Jon Yes, in the write up on the car I indicated that I was wrong about my WS6 statement. Relocated the ECU cleans up the engine bay. The car sold in May2020

Nice car and LS swap. Only thing that I don't like is the plastic covers that say Corvette. I would lose those quickly.
