Have u seen Jazwares Total Anime line? They just put out a 6 figure wave encompassing multiple popular licenses with multiple accessories, head sculpts and hands. All for the low price of $16.95!!!🤯 Ain't nobody coming close to their level of articulation and sculpting for that price!
I think joytoy is the best toyline right now but its all subjective anyway. I will say the best figures I've played around with this year is the Toynotch Astrobots.
Underrated? I think they're OVERRATED but it probably feels that way to you because they don't release as much as the competition does, which is their biggest flaw. And to be frank their figures are just OKAY, their figures move slightly better than a Marvel Legends with bare minimum accessories, there's nothing wrong with the bare minimum but if they're getting praise for that and not the other guys then there's an inconsistency in criticism. Plus they aren't better than any of the import guys making Street Fighter, more affordable but not better, it's funny how the "at least they're cheap" argument goes, if it's good then it's praise, if not then it's a defense. And I get they're a smaller company but the fact they keep showing off new stuff at cons and not releasing it is why I can't praise them, they showed off Cyberpunk figures last year and this year we got no news on those but they showed off more Cyberpunk figures as well as the rest of the Street Fighter cast when they've only released 6 characters in the span of two years with a bunch of recolors thrown out here and there, which if they were smart they'd make the player 2 colors wave filler. Jada puts out good stuff but literally everything else about them is what I can't stand, like dawg I can't get excited waiting two years for an okay figure.
“Bare minimum accessories?” Extra head sculpt, two extra hands, an effect piece AND an affect piece stand. That’s minimal to you for 25 dollars? You have very high standards. We have received AT LEAST 10 Marvel Legends/McFarlane figures in the last year that came with ZERO extra accessories. They’re more consistent with accessories and they are overall better articulated. It’s a 25 dollar price point, the difference isn’t going to be huge but it’s definitely noticeable….
@@MilkMustaches007 Yes that is bare minimum because there are tons of Legends figures that come with that exact spread and don't get the same amount of glazing, figures like X-Men 97 Cyclops, Superior Iron Man (and a lot of Iron Man figures honestly), Warbird Ms. Marvel, Target Black Widow, Retro carded Tigra and Hercules, Ragnarok (robot Thor), Quake from the Controller wave, Xemnu Red Skull and that's just individual picks, the Iron Fist, Luke Cage 2- pack has heads, hands and effects, the Cabal 3-packs also came packed with accessories. And of course there are figures that don't come with anything or just hands but Marvel Legends puts out more stuff than Jada and shit has to be spread out between waves. Yeah the inconsistency is frustrating like how Speedball and Tarantula come with nothing but someone like Shocker of all characters got a brand new sculpt and accessories. But the way I look at it, the big names get the quality they deserve while the lesser known characters kind of get shafted. And sometimes there's not much you can add to certain characters anyway. At the end of the day you just gotta make smart decisions when picking and choosing figures to get on day one.
I don’t understand your definition of the phrase “bare minimum.” You just said those Legends deserve recognition for all the accessories but then claim Jada is doing the minimum? Jada gives you all that with EVERY release they give you. The Legends line does it sporadically and often quite randomly. Jada gives every Street Fighter character this far some love, regardless of how well known they are.
@@MilkMustaches007 Granted I don't think it's that fair to compare the two lines because Marvel Legends has an entire universe of characters to work with versus Jada doing a very specific roster with SF2, one video game versus 85 years worth of characters and lore. I just find the Jada glazing so interesting because again they're getting huge praise for bare minimum accessories (which I'm not saying is a bad thing but also not something to go crazy over) and pretty standard articulation all things considered. Marvel Legends might not have double ball joint torsos but GI Joe Classified does and an assload of accessories, hell some people argue too much accessories. I think what it comes down to is people being way too comfortable talking shit on the multi billion dollar company versus the smaller one when at the end of the day, they're both companies making product for your money, therefore criticisms should be dulled out evenly.

Brother, this isn’t the way😹
“Bare minimum accessories.” - praises Legends.
