attack speed reduces the attack slow penalty, the attack slow penalty raises the action delay of skills orbital flames are affected by attack slow and thus attack speed has an impact on them. Orbital Flames can only have 4 orbs out at one time by 4th job which is the restriction, so speed infusion with green pot in fox mode with short range will see a damage benefit. Regardless, you want to hit the hard cap to reduce your action delays on all of your skills your fact is not a fact at all
@@MasterStacona You're free to test it for yourself but, unfortunately he's correct. Attack speed does not effect orbital flame. I've ran multiple tests pre and post ignition and orbital flame has never seen benefit from attack speed. If you're using lion mode without the range toggle - you receive 10% more hits compared to using the range toggle. This is not the case for fox mode, the orbs are not returning and there is no penalty for using the range toggle. Some of BlazeWizards other skills (Savage flame, blazing extinction, lion mode towering inferno) do see benefits, it's extremely minor and I wouldn't prioritize using dsi / green pot unless you can afford to.
Your primary trio boost node is orbital flame, blazing extinction and phoenix drive. Having a secondary trio is optional- it's a very minor damage boost and includes towering inferno, orbital explosion and cataclysm. I wouldn't recommend a second trio until you have spare node slots at 270+
I would argue the second trio is not optional because towering inferno is a lot better now for bossing when in the fox mode. It has insanely high damage% and has virtually no cast time so you can always throw it in with your burst if you have 5 fox stacks to do a decent chunk of extra damage. it would be a waste to not boost it by the time you start bossing. But it can probably wait until you can slot the other important nodes like mana overload, decent combat orders, sharp eyes etc so probably around 230-ish imo
I just started maplestory and blaze wizard is my first class and I plan on maining it, what would you recommend be the priority link skills for me to obtain?
Blaze Wizard main here. Remastered Blaze Wizard was clearly made by someone that didn't play Blaze Wizard themselves and didn't consult with anyone that plays it. We're missing a lot of QoL changes that could be done and the kit is overall clunky. Some were even mentioned in this video: -Elemental isn't a toggle -Fires of Creation isn't a toggle -Revive skill is only 50% hp and not 100% -Bind is a 3minute bind but we're a 2-minute class -Status resist only blocks 10 hits for 15 seconds every 4 minutes, making it lesser fusion of I/L and F/P's version of the skill -You're reliant on spamming orbital flame for our most powerful debuff -Orbital Explosion is literally 0.1% of our BA, despite being the "highlight" of the revamp it's just a worse version of the skill it replaced, which was Ignition -and more! This update made it so Blaze Wizards have to work harder to be the same as they were pre-patch. Phoenix drive is a great change, but everything else I'd rather delete so that Nexon gives us a new revamp. Trinodes are the same as pre-revamp as well, we do Orbital Flame / Blazing Extinction / Phoenix Drive as the main trinode, and Towering Inferno / Cataclysm / Player's Choice for the second. Also, the IA we use is different from what you gave in the video, though what you said in the video is serviceable. 253 BW here, really the only trio you need is orbital flame/blazing extinction/phoenix drive with orbital explosion/towering inferno/free space as a secondary. Imo it’s more effective to max the main trinode and then dump nodes into the 5th job skills. All of them are effective in different ways. Salamander is the only one that gives a bonus effect aside from dmg, with the Matk going up per level. Fox mode (or lion mode with down arrow) savage flame being able to kill enemies quickly is extremely important to the mobbing as each of the fireballs can hit up to 7 times. Flame gear is basically your burst aside from phoenix drive, so having more dmg on it makes bosses easier
No, it is orbital flame, blazing extinction, and orbital explosion as main skills. Boosting lower job skills that you can use is important as they get more final damage
I strongly considered making this my hyper burning character, so I decided to test the remaster on a lv 175 mule I have. It's a pity that orbital flame seems to be ping reliant, any time I was moving and tried to cast the skill I could feel a delay in the fireball release, not to mention a lower rate of balls coming out. It only seemed to work normally while standing still.
On Air update solved the ping issue but observed clunkiness could possibly be from only being able to have 4 fireballs on screen at once. This is a problem if you’re using extended range but isn’t prevalent in fox mode as fireballs don’t have to return
@@Reecheing I'm sure it's ping. I play with about 200 ping. I also main pathfinder and I m constantly annoyed by having to wait 1 second before using relic unbound so it will cast the version of the skill I want.
Been playing BW for a while, I don't notice any delay when casting it, what I do notice though is sometimes one orbital flame disappears shortly after being cast if my character touches it. I think it's more common when flash jumping and casting them when you have more speed than the orb. (Doesn't seem to happen in fox mode though)
@@Baykko ok wait there might be another thing, what setting is your keyboard repeat delay and repeat rate? Shove those as low as possible. I assume you already did that but I genuinely don’t feel any clunkiness from ping (something the On Air patch solved and something that can also be confirmed with other BW mains with poor ping)
i was gonna main blaze tbh the revamp didn't do them justice for me sadly but im still burning it to 150 with the second burn im loving it so far hopefully i can get it to 200

I hyper burn my BW to 235 with the Ignition update, the only downside of her kit for me is she has no teleport skill even though she's a mage, Orbital Flame feel weird when using with double jump and I prefer teleport over double jump.
You have a tp. Flashfire has different pros and cons, but you can use it to find a unique mobbing rotations and especially for bossing it's super useful.

fun fact attack speed doesn’t actually affect orbital flame but it feels like it cause you throw more fireballs every job

why not orbital flame, explosion, and phoenix for trio?
