I have been waiting for a few years for InkBird to come out with an affordable, high quality fully wireless thermometer to compete with some of the others out there. I have had great luck with a lot of InkBirds other thermometers and bbq temp controllers and this unit did not let me down! I've got two Inkbird thermometers a Bluetooth old school 4 probe and a standalone folding one. Both have multiple years of cooks on them. I've only had 1 failed probe which happens.
I've pleasantly been surprised for the price points.

I use a Fireboard 2 Drive for a wired thermometer, and it's the best I've ever used. I did not like the Meater Plus, because it's Bluetooth only unless you have a spare mobile device to act as a hub for it. But the Meater Block is pretty great, as the block connects to your WiFi so you don't lose connection to the probe all the damn time.
For basic grilling and stuff I usually just use the Meater Block and adjust for the dome temperature based on past experience. You'd obviously have to use a wireless for the rotisserie, but I don't have one.
But if I'm cooking low and slow, I go by the Fireboard grate probe for grate level, and I'll usually use both a Fireboard internal probe and the Meater in different spots for comparison.
