Mudryk does not go missing, team mates do not pass him the ball while he makes the run. Jackson hardly gives the ball to Mudryk and tries to become Messi and loses the ball in the end

No, thing is that our strong side is where Palmer is, he is mostly on the right side, so we always try to go on that side, Mudryk is also bad at cuting and reciving the ball, when he do cut correctly he always gets the ball, sadly he almost always fumbles with scoring or assisting. Jackson cuts on the other hand cuts amazingly well

My one criticism from this game was that Jackson was not passing the ball enough in the final third, one of his best qualities is his link up play but he wasnt utilising the players around him enough. Tried to dribble through 5 players rather than pass out to the open man.

Poch has Chelsea performing as the 4th best team in the country since Christmas. That is a pretty large sample size. All with a bunch of injury ravaged kids who often looked completely out of their depth. Yet he has molded them into a top 4 quality team and that’s without most of his first choice defence all season or his star forward. I’m predicting a 3rd place finish next season (assuming no points deduction)

Went through the great Roman Abramovich era and now I'm beginning (after a dismal start) to look forward to the new season. Chelsea have got such a lot of exceptional talent Chelsea just need to gel as a team. Personally I think, maybe I'm being too optimistic, Chelsea will be in the top 3 next season. Come on you BLUES we love ya.

This idea that Mudryk goes missing is not quite right as there were so many opportunities for Chelsea players to pass to him, particularly when he was in space were too may to mention. Madueke having tried to pass the left back many times should have learnt that he had his number. You would have thought he might have passed and moved, but no, he continually tried to pass him and lost the ball many times before he was hauled off. Another player who has to learn when to pass. Which brings me back to Mudryk, Jackson had several occasions to put Mudryk in when in space but like Madueke he refused to pass and instead lost possession. This is the kind of kindergarten football that Chelsea have to be rid of.

  • @jordanscott6989

This game showed perfectly how the process is working. Lost this game at the bridge earlier in the year, then I think it was Sheffield we came back to get the draw in mid season, and now we’re able to come back and win a game like this. Next step is not having to come back at all against bottom 5 teams lol. Poch has to stay this really hasn’t been an awful season if we can qualify for Europe. Think about Klops first year at Liverpool or Pep at City; I’m not saying we’re on the same trajectory but it took them time as well. The future is bright if we stay the course!!

Let's not forget Diego Moreira! He scored a brilliant hat-trick yesterday against a very good Arsenal team to take our U21s to the semi-final of the PL2 play-offs. It's on RUclips, check out the third goal. Yet ANOTHER brilliant left footed winger at our club. Also this week: Our U18s won the Southern league for the first time since Reece James was in the side. We now go into a Sunday final vs Man U who just secured the northern equivalent. In terms of building for the future, this terrible season may yet turn out to be the beginning of a glorious journey. Think about it, what a platform? On top of all this we've got players like Rio Ngumoha who just scored 2 goals to win the U17 Premier League Cup. He is being internally talked-up as being the most talented academy player we've had since Jamal Musiala. .

If Forest had taken their chances, Chelsea would have been buried by the time of the substitutions. You can't give praise to Poch for the subs unless you also give him the blame for the way he setup the team up that led to that dreadful first half and it was terrible. These are all end of season games and we are getting carried away by very mediocre performances.

    • @chelsea4life994
      @chelsea4life994 19 дней назад

We were setup the same way as the Westham game but lets be real the players played with no intensity most of the game. I think they were nervous to make misstakes so instead we played slow and easy to defend. Jackson wanted to win so much that we try to dribble every time instead of pass most of the game, he will learn that it doesn´t work with some more experience.

@@chelsea4life994 I agree they were so slow, particularly coming out from the back (Silva) but I believe comparisons with West Ham are irrelevant. Whereas they hardly put any effort into their game (away from home, nought to play for and the manager leaving), Forest certainly did so why didn't Poch tell the players from the side line to change their approach. Other managers do frequently.

We need a striker, a winger and a CB. Niko might have scored, but yesterday was a right stinker overall for him. We can't depend on him to be consistent right now. For a winger, Olise might be ideal, or just bring back Ziyech. Striker, Osimhen or Sesko, or even just keep Lukaku. Lukaku would do all right in this setup. Poch has done well with what he has, and there's growth to be had under Poch. That said, if we get a top coach this summer there's also trophies to be won. It's a decision the board has to make. Whatever happens though, we should be expecting Willian and Paez in 2025 and shouldn't buy too many players, nor place ourselves in FFP issues to strengthen this summer.

Pochettino has gotten a grip on things for sure. Credit to him. Fans who still loathe him for being a former Spurs manager are insufferable small minded dullards. I don’t know what to make of him in terms of our medium to long term aspirations though; is he THE guy to re-build Chelsea back into a trophy machine OR, is he similar to Ranieri: a careful constructor of a squad who then passes it over to a world class coach to take to the next level. I like Pochettino, he’s a favourite of football romantics who believe in entertaining & stylish approach. Even if he just that Ranieri type transition manager, that’s still no less important.

I think Mudryk and Madueke would have come good if they stayed. For me, the key change was Gusto/Reece for Baduishile and moving Trevor to CB. That rebalanced the team. Trevor at RB didnt go forward or even press Odoi. That meant our wingers were always busy running back to defend instead of attacking. After the changes, you can see we had space up wide as Reece/Gusto were not sitting back but pressing their wingers and moving forward.

If we come 6th, we are just lucky in a season that most teams are generally inconsistent, not too competitive like previous season. That is why Poch could not be rated for this level of performances and formations. The inconsistent in Chelsea rank is purely lack of formations to perfect ; not lack of players or experience as speculated.

I'm sick n tired of how much poch seems to be hyped cause of this wins. Our standards have really dropped. Beating Nottingham forest should be a walk in the park and yet poch made it look difficult. His subs didn't win us the game he just brought on every attacking player he had into the team it's not like there was a tactical change or system change it's just everyone just go in and let's see what happens. This man hasn't changed or effected this team. He won't win us any trophy let's play a proper team and you will see us breakdown. Let's look at how we played against arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, even manchester united the first leg, we are actually a shit team bar some moments of brilliance from players like palmer and the rest. Poch doesn't deserve to be our coach next season. POCH OUT...

First game of the season we should have beaten pool, we should have beaten city at least twice, the players threw away the arsenal game at the bridge, the game change we moved into a 4-4-2, didnt know Reece and gusto were attackers, your a disrespecting forest a bit once they are on it you cant walk them same with Brighton and Newcastle maybe Bournemouth, the Sheffield draw and Burnley's one is better to complain about,
Our standard isn't just winning it isn't fifa its the mentality and they showed it
