Hello .. i actually joined the qatar student club burgundy and i spoke with the Qatar customer to confirm the extra free 23kg and they confirmed yes. I was so happy. But then i told the my flight is Lagos -Doha is Qatar airways Doha - London Heathrow is Bristish airways. The customer care said sorry i wunt be able to use any of my student club privileges due to another airline in between my trip to london. What can i do ?
Hi Femi, So sorry to hear that but I can understand where they are coming from. The point is to help students flying with them take extra luggage when going to school. If you are taking another airline to where your school is then it wouldn’t apply. Can I ask why you are using 2 airlines?
@@TaymieTee Thanks Tee... I didnt plan on using two airlines.. i book on qatar airways website and that date i picked had that in it . It has stop over in doha bfr landing in Heathrow London..
Hi Femi, it sounds like you’re saying you booked on Qatar airways website and have a layover in Doha before landing in Heathrow which if is okay. If I read this wrong and it’s 2 airlines check the price to change your ticket and how much you’ll pay for carrying extra luggage. Whichever one is cheaper, do that.
