6:18 its still funny to me the range the shotguns have, at the beginning i didnt used them because i had in my mind that it was only useful at really short range but now i know that you can even snipe with them xDD
You just got brainwashed by Call of Duty/Battlefield, i guess. Shotguns being a short-range only weapon is pure bullshit coming from absolutely unrealistic games like that.
The issue you might be forgetting about when it comes to people not listening/paying attention to sounds is the fact that a lot of them just don't have good audio setup. A vast majority of gamers use some trash Steelseries or Razer "gaming" headsets which are just horrible, and will NEVER give you the precision and clarity of a pair of actually good headphones. There were a lot of times when i was watching a stream/YT video/my friend on discord playing, and i very clearly heard a sound and precise direction of an enemy they completely ignored or even confirmed they didnt hear whatsoever, despite having a "high-end gaming headset". Its impossible to express with text how huge of an advantage in terms of audio you get when you switch from one of those gaming cans to a proper set of studio headphones. And no, i dont necessarily mean 500$ Beyerdynamics DT1990, (while that obviously is even better) there are plenty of studio headphones in the 100-200$ price range that absolutely decimate gaming headsets for similar money, both for gaming and listening to music. The ONLY tradeoff you face is needing a separate microphone, which is not even a tradeoff ultimately, considering how both the cans and the microphone will be incomparably better than what you'd get out of a headset (and any respectable content creator will use a separate mic anyway).
Idk if it's an option for the Saiga, but one of those upgrades that make it shoot flatter with less arch would be perfect. I forget what the actual name is but I'm sure you know what I mean. Love these one life ironman videos!
ooh you found an Exosuit. nice. I'm currently rocking one, the bandit version (I think it's the "Looted Exosuit"). that's basically the Exo armor's inner layer, without the powered exoskeleton. hence why it doesn't have great extra carry weight and has ass movespeed. but the protection is unmatched. unfortunately, it's also *very* low on artifact slots. caps at 3 iirc. if the other suit can have more slots, then you can probably make up the difference in BR with artifacts eventually. only thing you can't fix with artifacts is movespeed. I've def noticed the speed being annoying with it in my playthrough. I'm actually working towards fixing up a set of heavy Clear Sky armor instead, which ends up with like 5 belt slots. that'll almost completely fix the stat differences.
20:40 sadly Psy/bloodsuckers just fall through the ground constantly, on casual runs I've started nocliping to get them because I loose so many corpses to it. They'll be floating in the void 50m down stuck on some sub floor collision. Also it's beyond me why there isn't a confirmation for picking up your entire workbench, the time I've lost to that damn button...
Shotgun slugs are typically made of lead with a conical tip and have rifling on the projectile itself. The furthest distance I've shot slug was 50 yards but they group well at that distance
@Venoxium really. A fresh install with stock settings doesn't have the gigantic white light, but after installing the lut from your video (and without any further graphical settings) the light is there. I think it might depend from how the lut we both use shifths the tones towards a brighter overall. Probably it's a matter of interaction between the lut and the default tonemapper.
I didnt realize the heart of the oasis had such a huge negative bullet resist penalty until my last playthrough. Is that a new change? I find myself avoiding it like the plague unless i need the extra resist cap from compass
@Venoxium if it is a change than it is a terrible one. Reducing the compass to a modest bullet resist with huge penalties to literally everything else is just a fun nerf. I don't remember their names but the tier 3 fire artifacts are sorta S tier now
Don't enjoy writing critic on such long and enjoyable Commentary + Gameplay. But the Ghostmatter Part really hurts to watch. Esp. after you used your Scout and see that Crystal =/> Ghost Matter. Its **some** Crystals => Ghost Matter.
That is the weirdest Commentary bug I ever seen. My Comment was under a whole different Video and RUclipsr. But the Comment Section was partly merged from two different videos?! That js hilarious.
you can save/load to bring artifacts back to ground level if they float off

Few patches ago Grok added a bunch of extra drop to shotgun slugs. They fly similarly to 9x39 at range in terms of drop

pat the cats for good luck
7:00 ish: 12 gauge shotgun slug is a cylindrical piece of lead. I don't think it's even aerodynamic, so yeah you gotta aim high :P

The massive light in the sky from the pulse anomaly is due to your lut. I installed it and I have the same problem
Really? I replaced the files with the original LUT file & it's still there. But I guess I should find a way to completely disable Pulse anomalies.

I believe it’s a new change but I don’t 100% remember since I didn’t get it in my last playthrough

Got advanced tools in a yellow stash in wild territory so don't hate on wild territory XD
Guess you are stuck with me.

No clue about Seraphim but the mod is called "Quick Action Wheel" and you need to install it yourself.
@@Venoxium thanks man...also...whats the default key to switch eotech magnifier scope?
I dont know if you have said this before but how do i turn off the workbench weight cap?
“Unlimited Stash Weight” is the name of the mod.

First 1st
Is this game cpu or gpu heavy? I bet it's cpu. I have some spare money to upgrade from my 4th gen i7. The game runs like sheet.
CPU, but the game practically only runs on 1 core.
@Venoxium sad. Anyway something newer cpu should help a bit. Thanks.
Remember that you cant just buy a new CPU. 4th Gen means that for any reasonable upgrade you also have to buy a new motherboard and RAM.
@Rumcajs981 yeah, literally a whole new computer.
