Now RoboForm servers come encrypted with AES256, and all data is encrypted/decrypted locally. So It's a truly secure password manager. Additional security features include two-factor authentication that helps make your account even tougher to crack. And what I think truly helps beginners - Security Center - helps you keep track of your password's strengths and where they are reused. It's really useful to clean up all your old or bad logins in one place.
✅ Ease of Use? ✅
To start Roboform password manager review - it wouldn't be the contender for the best password manager name without being easy to use even for beginners. Luckily for us, the RoboForm password manager is smooth to use on basically every device. The desktop app is very simplistic, but you don't need to search for tools. Everything is nicely placed on one menu. It kind of reminds me of Windows file explorer or the settings page. Whether it's a "good thing" is for you to decide.
If you're more like me and don't like installing an app for every different tool, then RoboForm's web browser extension might be what you're looking for. It's probably the sleekest of RoboForm versions and allows you to easily manage your password and fill in the info when needed. What is a small pet peeve of mine - RoboForm redirects you to their web application for a few tasks, like creating new entries, instead of allowing you to do it in extension. It’s not bad to sometimes add seemingly unnecessary steps when I want to add something quickly. I would say that extension + web application is probably the best way to utilize Roboform if you need to choose only one way.
RoboForm iOS and Android versions are kinds of even better. They simplify the interface, and it's quite easy to set up or manage all your passwords in one place. However, while easy to use, mobile apps struggle a bit to fill in some passwords, and it can take a bit of time to get working. RoboForm autofill works a lot better on desktops, at least for now. Also, I kind of don't like the 4-digit security code that Roboform mobile comes with, just let us use our master password from the very start… but don't fear you can turn on extra security features once the initial RoboForm setup is done…

Once you set up RoboForm, you might notice that some more "interesting" features are missing. Like NordPasse's Data breach scanner and Dashlane VPN. While don't get me wrong, those snazzy features are cool. Some users just need an app that does one thing they need well and doesn't overload everything. In that regard, RoboForm is great at managing your passwords.
RoboForm comes with ultimate entries, emergency access, dark-web monitoring, a way to send notes securely, and application logins. Everything you need for a flawless experience. Oh, the one feature I like is the RoboForm password generator. While simple, it's very intuitive to use and allows me to specify the length of the passcode in addition to choosing to exclude similar characters. This really helps out when I need to create lots of test accounts and not forget about them.
So despite lacking extra features, it has everything needed for good password management. And a simple approach makes it more accessible even for a complete beginner.

I wouldn't recommend Roboform's free version unless you do not mind having your passwords stored outside your computer on the net. To keep your login and passwords safely, you must buy a license. I will be uninstalling this krap from my computer immediately and changing all my passwords. Skary stuff.

It's too difficult to use and support is nonexistent, Norton would be a better choice. I had an expert computer technician helping me with it and it still presented problems.

And unless you buy a license, the free version stores your passwords on their server, cloud, or wherever on the net. I'm uninstalling it right now.

Used the free version for a long while at the office and at home, however, few days ago Roboform did an update and ONLY 1 Device..without any warning, I can no longer us it at home and office with buying...bye roboform...back to LastPass for me
