Thanks for the demonstrations! I love all of your recipes. I would never load my ingredients into the bread pan with the pan inside the bread machine. I am very clumsy and I’d end up making a big mess trying to dump that flour in! I commend you for your neatness!
How’s it going Leo, definitely. I have a jalapeño cheese bread and one other I promised first then I’ll definitely do bagels! I tried them a few times and finally got a good recipe you’ll like
Hi Mr Bread Baker, I really like your videos. Would you please make a video for jalapeño and cheese bread, garlic bread and sourdough bread in bread machine. By the way, is it okay to use olive oil instead of butter, if so in what proportion. Thanks!
Hi Shahla, absolutely! I will make a video in the next couple of days for the jalapeño cheese bread and garlic bread. So yes could use olive oil but the problem is keeping the sides and bottom coated without it pooling. The best way to do that is get a clean paper towel and soak it a little bit and make sure you wipe the whole interior, sides and bottom. But also be aware that in the bread maker olive oil will tend to have a stronger taste in the bread sometimes. Hope this helps
Or did you mean olive oil in the actual bread instead of the butter? If so I wouldn’t recommend it. It will definitely change the texture of the bread and the flavor completely.
Just got my new Cuisinart bread maker. Made some yummy white bread. I noticed that during the cycle it beeps 3 times. Once early in the cycle, again maybe 45 minutes(didn't really time it) and of course when it's over. When making your blueberry loaf, which beep is the correct 9ne to add the berries?
What kind of machine do you have. What I mean is that usually most machines will mix once them let the bread sit inside and rise for a while then it will mix again and then let it rise again before baking . Some machines will also have an alert that goes off that will say add in, which tells you to add ingredients like blueberries.
@@mrbreadbaker368 I'm going to get the cuisinart 110, same as yours. But I like to add extra ingredients like you did. What setting did you set yours so that it will beep for adding ingredients?
NH if you just use the regular white bread setting it will always beep after it mixes and rises and say add ingredients. The instruction book will tell you exactly how long it takes for it to beep.but don’t worry it is loud 😃 you can’t miss it
Howdy, tried this recipe. What is up with the incorporation of the blue berries??? The dough as shown is TOO THICK to allow the incorporation. How on earth do you get the blue berries to become a part of the dough. My berries wound up as a compote at the bottom of the loaf!
Hi Mark sorry about that. We’re the blueberries thawed or frozen? After you make the little mix and put in the fridge they should still be fairly frozen when you add in at the point the machine says add in after the rise and kneading . Let me know how you did yours
@@mrbreadbaker368 Howdy Mr. Bread and THANKS for the reply. The berries were frozen and did add the 1/3rd cup of flour. However, the dough was so stiff at the Mix In Signal, 20 minutes after the start, that the berries would not mix in and became crushed into a blue berry kinda mush. Can/should they be added in earlier in the mixing sequence. Again, Thanks for the prompt reply and Merry Christmas!!
Just another note, the recipe calls for nearly 4 cups of flour and only 1 cup of fluid, that does not seem to be enough fluid to hydrate 4 cups of flour, going out on a limb and add 1/4 cup more water.
@@markfairchild8250 sometimes you have to adjust but during the first knead just keep an eye on it and if it is mixing well just stick with the 1 cup if its too dry then start adding water 1 tablespoon at a time until everything is incorporated, be careful to make sure the dough doesn't end up too wet or sticky
Thank you Mr. Bread. I haven't bought my bread machine yet but when I do I will feel quite confident with you instructing me along the way.

Hey Mr Bread Baker! I just got this machine and hoping you'll do an episode making bagels! Donuts would also be cool :-)

can you use any bread maker?
I don't get when the first rise and first knead is done for adding the blueberries

Can they be fresh blueberries or do they have to be frozen?
Yes the blueberries can be fresh but you may have to use a few more than the frozen
