    Our Rating System:
    We are both firm believers that it is unjust to review and rate an album after only hearing it one or two times therefore our method for reviews is much different than everyone else on RUclips.
    Our review process starts off with a "listening session" where we hear the entire album from beginning to end, uninterrupted. We then post a video with our initial thoughts and opinions of the album. Over the course of a week we will each listen to the album as many times as we can, analyzing and critiquing it. Then at the end of the week we will post our full and final review of the album which will include our ratings.
    Our scoring method is unique to this channel as well. We each rate the album out of 10 but anything 8 and above simply just gets our Toe Tag. In order for an album to make it onto the list above it must receive Two Toe Tags. It if only gets one or none then it does not make our coveted list.
    Any album that receives Two Toe Tags is considered a top quality album of elite status and highly recommended by both of us. Be sure to Subscribe and turn on Notifications so you will always be in the loop with all the awesome metal we review!
    NOTICE: This is not a news/info channel. We are not a RUclips version of Wikipedia for the bands that we discuss. There will be some videos, especially Reactions, where we get some facts or information wrong. Please understand that our purpose is simply to react to the video and not to spread knowledge about the band. We have not, nor will we ever state incorrect facts. If we are unsure of things we will be clear that we are unsure and by all means, feel free to correct us in the comments below.
    Anyone who fails to understand what this channel is about and proceeds to troll our videos with nonsensical remarks will be removed from the channel. This means that any comments you post will be blocked from us and potentially to all other users as well.

    I was expecting to get crushed by this song like Nensha and I wasn't as open to this song as I am now. Really good song.
    Anyone else get Amon Amarth feels from that intro riff?

    Orbit Culture is incredible, great song! I really enjoy Nija, definitely a strong album front to back.

    Given the quality of the music they continue to release...and they dropped nija less than a year ago...I'll take boring video BUT GREAT SONG all day long

    What a great song, holy, I always though like this band is very heavy, almost deathcore? But this is like combination of lighter death metal, and classic heavy metal. Awesome. Great vocals, drums are awesome, fantastic melody. Gonna check some more songs from this band, I was sleeping on it.

      Check out Nija, their latest album.

    • @Mavvyd96
      @Mavvyd96 3 года назад +6

      I would not say this band is deathcore, more like an amalgamation between melodic death metal, thrash, groove, heavy, and maybe even symphonic in some elements.

      Smartass ummm acktually moment aside, their entire last album was a STRAIGHT BANGER. All killer, no filler. Highlights are definitely North Star of Nija, Open Eye, Nensha, and The Shadowing for me.

      @@Mavvyd96 Yeah they didn't have an average song in that last album. Open Eye, Mirrorslave and Nensha were my highlights.

  • @Mavvyd96
    @Mavvyd96 3 года назад +6

    TVfish, I agree with you man. Drums were the highlight of the song and they definitely have a Trivium esque vibe to them. I think they're most like Trivium in how versatile they are. Go from snap your neck one track to singing along to a melodic chorus the next.

    They shoot the video and edited the music themselves, so there is definitely something to applaud, I think its reasonably good for what it is.

    That’s interesting, I never put them in the same genre as Trivium. Doesn’t matter much I love pretty much every track they put out. Someone tried to knock them by calling them Metallica with blast beats and I was like, yup that’s probably why I like them! In all honesty the dude’s clean singing voice sounds a lot like Hetfield IMO

    This song highlights to me why I love Orbit Culture, because they have this range that encapsulates everything I love about the metal genre. If you look at their entire discography, their evolving sound goes from Lamb of God to Metallica to Gojira to Amon Amarth to Trivium and it just demonstrates Niklas and the bands' appreciation for metal as a whole.
    Another solid banger, looking forward to the EP in two months!
