1969 SS is my fav. Had one in high school in the early 80’s. Sold her for $1300 bucks when I went off to college. One of my biggest boneheaded mistakes ever. Ugh!! Great vid

I absolutely love the 66 Chevelle. I had a 66 SS 396 convertible in the service. I regret selling it to this day.

It's not too late to get another one! The owner of this one had another one years ago and after selling it, he vowed to get another one, which is the car you see in the video

Gorgeous car. Cars from this era were soooo cool.
Yeah they arent very safe and they dont handle that great, but you get so much space, styling, sound, acceleration, and comfort.

Personally I'm not a convertible fan at all especially when it comes to muscle cars.
To me a convertible Chevelle is the equivalent of having a 4-door Chevelle, but that's just my personal preference so please folks don't be hatin on me if my preferences are different than yours.
Having said that, the car is in fantastic shape. It may not bring what a hard top would bring on terms of price, but still worth a pretty penny.
Nick Southgate from Maple Motors classic cars in Tennessee sells tons of convertibles.

5:15 Whats so odd about the hood release? All cars back then had an exterior hood release latch. The guy must be a millennial and grew up strapped in a baby seat of his momma's Honda Civic.
