This is a great presentation and brings big Highlights on History Evolution of Feminist Theory. An important correction; "Le Deuxième Sexe" of Simone de Beauvoir was published in 1949 and not 1972.

I was thinking about Hamilton as I was watching this - it's why I knew what was happening in the late 1700s. So I was happy when you mentioned it haha.

It's important to note that black women did not get the right to vote until long after 1920 due to racist practices employed at the voting booths. I believe they got the official right to vote during the 2nd wave you described.

Judith Butler`s ideas are ideology, not the "truth". To naively follow these gender ideas is not scientific, academic thinking!! What about philosophers like Alice von Hildebrand? She offers much more insight into these matters.

Could the dating scene also fall under gender perfomativity? For instance, when women are expected to agree to sex after "x" number of dates? Or the expectation that men be the pursuers? Is women agreeing to sex after dates an act of gender performativity? Is men pursuing women an act of gender performativity?

These are radical social ideas buried beneath several layers of theory and presupposition. They are rather inapplicable to reality, and often even counterproductive when attempted. If you want to know how to generate social change you need to look at the science of what works, and stay away from theoretical criticism.

It is amazing how much good and structred and well articulated information one can give and how dull and boring (stretched over weeks of lectures) another 'manages' to provide. We focused endlessly on individual experiences which is good to get the Zeitgeist of the times when women started to protest and organize as a political force but we focused on that so much. This here is much better. More interesting as well.

That is why I try to ask you a question and an answer at the same time, so that we can exchange opinions from our point of view or delve into the topic more, because these topics are very sensitive in our society.
Why did the divorce rate rise in Western society and the Islamic society?
Or are there organizations that help introduce or encourage feminist movements? This is causing the destruction of our nation and the destruction of society, which has caused the dispersal of families and the loss of families.

Noticed how whenever you hear a feminist talk it's always about her feelings and emotions. And completely ignores reason, logic, facts, evidence, statistics, data, personal accountability and most importantly common sense!

"Right to abortion"? There is no such right! Every human being (born or unborn) has a right to life.
