With Kösem gaining power, a completely different order comes to the palace. Safiye Sultan, who can't stand Kösem's takeover, sends a very different concubine to the palace. Things are starting to get tense between Şehzade Osman and Şehzade Mehmed! Prince Mustafa, on the other hand, is going out for the first time after being inside four walls for years! However, on her first night in the harem, such an event happens that Halime and Dilruba are shocked! While Halime witnesses her son's illness, Dilruba takes a big risk in order to save her brother and has to make an accomplice with someone she doesn't know. The strong bond between Hümaşah and İskender draws suspicion on them. A name very close to Ahmed learns that Alexander is the missing prince! Is Alexander's secret in danger? While Sultan Ahmed dreams of crowning his power, unaware of everything, a great danger awaits him!
All hope is lost for Handan when it is discovered that Ahmed has smallpox. Safiye Sultan, on the other hand, made an agreement with Halime to put Prince Mustafa on the throne without wasting any time. The day Halime has been waiting for has finally arrived.
With Prince Mustafa getting sick, the dynasty is in danger of extinction. Safiye is devastated when she learns that Fahriye caused this crisis. Safiye, who is cornered, makes a surprise move and announces her new candidate for the throne.
With the spread of the disease news, the city returns to the fire place. The people of the palace are face to face with death. In this difficult test, Anastasia sees Safiye's true face for the first time. It's time for Anastasia to take control of fate!
Magnificent Century: Kosem is about Kosem Sultan married to the "State-i Aliyya", when her six-year-old son ascended to the throne, having the position of "Regent of the Sultanate", as well as the power gained by defeating all her enemies and becoming a sultan who brought the world to her knees with her regency. The power of Kosem Sultan became the greatest authority of the state through Murad IV, will be shaken by the iron fist of Sultan Murad, who wants to seize power. With his determination and might, Murad will give the Ottoman Empire its strongest period after Suleiman the Magnificent. The defeats of the state inside and outside will close the era.

It's heartbreaking that even though Ahmed isolated Mustafa so no one could use him as a reason to dethrone Ahmed, thanks to the Law Of Unintended Consequences it still turned out that someone (Halime & Dilruba, among others) STILL ended up using Mustafa and drove him insane in process.

In actuality, until Ahmed's death in 1617, Mustafa lived in the Old Palace, along with his mother, and grandmother Safiye Sultan. What we're seeing is pure fiction.

Not in real life. After fratricide was abolished, all Princes in the future were locked up - The Kafes/The Cage. Some were locked up almost all of their lives, and one would get out to be the next Sultan. Which is why the Ottoman Empire began to decline, as the Sultans knew nothing of governing.
@@Pashasmom1 Actually Osman executed Mehmed. And after that Osman was executed by the janissaries and Mustafa was installed again and deposed and sent to the Kafes.
One thing that I like about this series compared to Magnificent Century is that all the actors all good looking asf just look at Ahmet 🥵 Safiye Kosem ISKENDER AHHH

For some reason, it doesn't bother me so much when Ahmed is with a new woman.... unlike when Suleyman betrayed Hurrem by sleeping with other women. That really bothered me! Meryem the actress made us feel all the pain n suffering with her excellent acting skills 👌

Yes, you are right because maryam is a wonderful actress while the kosam actress has very limited emotional reactions. Secondly I always feel hurrum was insanely in love with sultan but Kosam is very calculated women, more practical and less emotional.,she does not love Ahmed as much as he loves her while in hurrum s case it was opposite

I think it's because Kösem is a bit more practical and logical than Hürrem who was more passionate and wore her heart on her sleeve. She accepted that she can never have the Sultans body to herself, but she can have his heart to herself.

No grey in his beard; no children over 12 (that is if made @ 15) -- I mean, so much of this is historically whack!! But entertainment-wise? Brilliant!! Can't get enough!! The clothes - jewelry - Simply divine!! Those seeking the truth? Trust Brittannica!

I don’t like this episode, the time jump is all weird. Suddenly the grand Vizer and Mehmed Giray are all evil? That makes no sense and if they were going to do a time jump there should have been stories on that. And Yasmin looks absolutely nothing like her sister. The writing on this episode got very lazy. …… hats off to the actor playing Mustafa though. It’s sad and he is portraying the insane so well
It'd be better if they announced it as another season and released it some time later, that way ppl would naturally expect the possibility of a big timeskip and changes in the series

Dilruba is so beautiful. What happen to these some women here are not as attractive and beautiful as the previous MC of sulayman era. Especially the concubine sent to mustafa is old and ugly 😄My goodness nothing like the sulayman era all women there are all beautiful and very attractive. The only beautiful women here I find so attrative are Humasah Sultan and Halime and Saffiye even though she is old she is beautiful and have a nice posture
Humasah is not attractive in my opinion, but most of the others are. Not sure which ones you're referring to in the other series, but I thought most of them were NOT attractive at all.
